Our property is the best of both worlds as you can be in town in Whitefish or Columbia Falls within minutes, but still like you have your own private setting in the woods. There are currently 3 treehouses on site on our property. /pbrbrpTreehouse #2 (The Raven's' Nest A- Frame Treehouse) is approximately 100 feet from the main treehouse. We have situated the treehouses so they still maintain their utmost privacy having decks and seating areas facing their own private wooded space. /pbrbrpThe treehouse grand entrance is a spiral staircase custom crafted around a giant Douglas fir tree. This treehouse has 500 square feet of living space with 2 outside deck areas, the common room has a 2nd spiral staircase, full kitchen, dishwasher, stove and 3 lush padded benches to entertain (the 3 benches are each 24 inches by six feet long) which also double as sleeping quarters. /pbrbrpThere is no “roughing it” in this treehouse. The first floor has a full bathroom with a full sized shower and sink. 2 living trees grow through the treehouse interior and 2 living trees are through the treehouse decks! /pbrbrpThe master suite loft has a queen tempur-pedic mattress leading out to the 2nd story treehouse deck through a sliding glass door for the most relaxing space to enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee overlooking your private wooded setting. The master suite loft also has a private 1/2 bathroom./pbrbrp This is not a wedding venue. While we have very simple elopements on property (usually the couple and a photographer + officiant), we don't advertise our property as a wedding venue. The perfect place to plan the many activities available in the area. brbrYou'll be staying in a recently constructed and renovated, main level 3 bedroom 2 bath decorated with a rustic and contemporary vibe. Ample windows give to a light and airy feeling while you're indoors. The private deck and oversized hot tub offers a relaxing and peaceful recovery from playing hard in the mountains and on the lakes and rivers, and a fully fenced yard area provides a safe place for the pooch to play too. brbrWhile you take in a movie or catch up on the news (who does that on vacation haha), you'll be comfortable on the big sectional sleeper sofa (queen size sleeper) with 2 recliners set just right to see the news you're not really going to watch. The stone fireplace is gas and easy to operate with the remote control keeping you warm when it gets chilly in the evenings.brbrThe kitchen is open to the living area and has a large island with a couple of counter stools for the kids to sit and entertain whomever might be loitering behind the stove saying, Let's just go out to eat. If you do decide to stay in for dinner and cook, the gas range faces the TV and the counter top space is expansive enough to prepare a big buffet style dinner. brbrIn the dining area, the table seats 6 and with the counter stools and island area, dinner for 8 is served! brbrThe master bedroom offers privacy as it's split from the other bedrooms by the living and kitchen area, and there is a king size bed in the bedroom where you can comfortably recharge yourself after enjoying a day of winter sports or having some time in the sun on one of the lakes in the area. Plenty of room to stretch out to catch a show or two before the exhaustion of the day's activities pull your eyelids shut. If you're a little chilled, turn on the decorative gas stove that's set back in the corner of the bedroom. Double patio doors welcome you to access the deck to lounge or hop into the hot tub without having to run through the house. brbrThe laundry and bathroom areas also separate the master bedroom from the living areas and other bedrooms and can be closed off from the main area of the house as well. brbrThe 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are spacious with full closets and queen beds outfitted with cushy beds. You and your family or guests will have a place for everything and are able to retreat for some quiet time without being cramped into tiny bedrooms. brbrIn the shared bathroom, there is a shower/tub combo to give the option for a long, hot soak instead of being on your feet even longer after Montana outdoor playtime. brbrThis is a pet-friendly home, but we request a max of 2 (dogs only) that are house trained, stay off the furniture, and well behaved. A pooper scooper is provided for cleanup, and the pets do not have to be trained to use this equipment, but the humans do! brbrNote: If you are coming to Montana to visit Glacier National Park, please refer to their website for entry details. Glacier Gathering Grounds is perfect for family reunions, wedding groups, friends, dogs, & business professionals to come enjoy some time in the mountains. We also have high chairs and pack and play cribs available upon request for those with little ones! The separate/detached shop/garage is off limits for the guests, but the other traditional residential garage attached to the house are for the guests. The home is located on a quiet residential street in Columbia Falls. A short drive to downtown Columbia Falls, downtown Whitefish, and only 20-25 minutes from Glacier National Park!brNo partying, events, or large gatherings unless previously discussed with the host. There will be a $1500.00 fine and immediate eviction with no refunds without prior host approval. brbrQuiet hours from 9pm-9am per Columbia Falls city ordinance. Music must be at a low volume and never with profanity. Please be respectful to our neighbors.brbrAny unregistered guests who are not on the original reservation are not permitted on the property unless previously discussed with the host.
