Parking for just 1 car. We don't provide drop off or storage services, and there is no lobby in the building. Overnite parking for additional cars is not available in town. There is limited overnite public parking at the ski resort, but for a price can be high. There is overnight public parking at the small airport in Steamboat for about $9 a night. The 5th bedroom has 4 Twins bunked, and is ideal for up to 4 kids or single adults. With this many bedrooms and beds, you probably won't need the sleeper sofa in the living room, but it's there for you. The living room has vaulted ceilings, comfy seating, a warm gas fireplace and large HDTV. It is open to the Kitchen and dining room, so even large groups can come together here. There is also a large covered deck with nice views, which is particularly nice for guests who visit in the warmer months of spring, summer, or fall. brbrThe location of Emerald Lodge is great! You'll be within easy walking distance of the Gondola, Ticket Office, Ski School, restaurants, bars, shops, and even groceries. Right out back is the Bear Creek Trail, a paved path leading directly to Gondola Square, which is only about 350 yards away! This walk is quiet and pleasant, with very little up or down. Summer guests will love how this trail connects you directly to the hiking and biking trails of the Routt National Forest as well as the Yampa River. It is rented only sparingly and is kept in very good condition. The bedroom setup is ideal for a group of 3 couples or small family groups. There's a lot to like about the place, but some highlights include the newer private hot tub, the large summer only pool area, the large covered deck, the private washer & dryer, and for ski season guests, the boot & glove dryers! The location is also a great feature. Using two different but easy routes, you can walk downhill from the slopes to the property, and downhill from the property to the Gondola, Ski School, groceries, restaurants, and more! The same is true of the walk to access the free city bus system. Of course you don't have to walk! The complex has a free Private Shuttle service in ski season to get you to and from the slopes.
