Exclusive Bella Vista Lodge! - Private Grotto Hot Tub, Game Room, Slopeside Ski Storage

Beautiful house with unbeatable views

Communication with the Mountain Vacation Lodging (Bella Vista) team was spectacular. They were so kind and helpful and were able to help with my requests throughout the process. The house itself was stunning and cozy and accommodating. Everybody was very comfortable in their beds. There was plenty of bedding and pillows provided. The beds were not initially separated, according to how I requested them, but the Mountain Vista Lodge team was able to send maintenance in to accommodate my request for the beds to be separated, as well as increase the temperature of the grotto to make it a little bit warmer. The kitchen is insanely well-equipped to handle any and all cooking needs. We had a private chef, Chris Vargoshe come to the house our last evening and he was able to prepare a beautiful dinner with the tools provided. There’s plenty of firewood for a cozy fire, and cups and utensils for any size party, we had 10 adult guests. I would absolutely book this house again just for the view and the grotto. Easy drive into Steamboat, about 8 minutes. Fantastic, I can’t express how much I enjoyed this stay. Thank you again!

We had 3 families stay for a week at this amazing property. The views are better than the pictures. Host was extremely responsive.

The house is fantastic with amazing views. It is a little way from Steamboat we drove in so this was not a problem. We all enjoyed the large hot tub. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The primary bed is very tall and requires step stool. The kitchen is well stocked and well laid out. We did take a Keurig and Nespresso. The game room was very nice for the teens. We did have trouble with the fireplace in the TV room. You must use the firestarters and there were not left for us. Once the maintenance person gave us the firestarters it worked great. The maintenance person was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did not have any luck with the TV. We were unable to get youtubetv to work. Even the teens could not figure it out. The property managers were very responsive and a great help with any questions. The directed us in the use of the lockers that come with the property and that was such a great bonus. The problem came when I informed them possibility 2 extra ten year old may sleep on the couch. This request was denied. Our family has been skiing for over 50 years. We have taken our kids, youth groups and now our grandkids to almost every ski town in Colorado. NEVER have I been told that a child could not sleep on the couch, of which there are several in this house that even an adult could have slept on. Children have sleep on the floor in a sleeping bags for years. Outside cameras verify the number of persons. I was flabbergasted! Be warned.

We had an amazing experience staying at this location. It has the most amazing view and everything was as described. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future!
