Only minutes from the base; you have easy access to resort but are far enough away from the hustle of downtown to unwind.brbrABOUT THE SPACE:brNestled on about a half acre of wooded lot, you'll find plenty of space for relaxing, enjoying friends and family and watching for birds and other 4-legged creatures. Our home can comfortably sleep 8.brbrDining room:brGather around the large dining room table that can seat 8 comfortably. We love sitting in the hot tub while the snowflakes fall!brbrMaster bedroom with bath:brIn this room you'll find a comfy queen bed as well as a daybed that can double as a twin sleeper, or if you pull it out, function as another king bed. A pretty view of the mountain and forest from one of the picture windows is available from this bedroom. Attached is a master bathroom with a whirlpool tub and attached master closet. There is plenty of closet space and underbed storage in the master bedroom. The master closet has a second entrance that you might consider having all guests use for extra storage. All bedrooms come with a humidifier for your use.brbrSecond floor bedroom:brThis cute bedroom also comes with queen bed. Extra storage is available in roll away drawers under the bed, or in the cub shelving against the wall. brbrSecond floor bathroom:brFull (shower) bathroom that can be easily shared by all guests.brbrObservatory bedroom:brUp here is another queen bed as well as a sleeper sofa. Our driveway can fit up to four cars. No parking on the street is allowed. During snowy conditions you must have 4WD/AWD for access. The snowplow service will come whenever there is 3 inches of snow. Snow shovels and salt buckets are also provided for your use. brbrMisc:brThe main heating source in the house is via baseboard heating which can be controlled via wall thermostats or on the unit depending on the room you are in. I was a little surprised the home was in a neighborhood so it wasn’t as secluded as I hoped but the neighborhood is quiet. There are some fantastic hiking trails nearby along with Dillon lake not too far away either. A truly beautiful spot, we felt like we were out in the woods, but we were just a 10 minute drive to the gondola in Breckenridge (even shorter to in-town shopping) We spent most of the day skiing but still took advantage of lots of things at the house - the hot tub (which was great because there were lots of towels left right by the door!), the game room for playing cards, and just hanging out on the comfy couches We cooked some meals at the house – and were impressed by the quality of the kitchen setup. Brand new coffee maker, blender, utensils, and a plentiful filled spice rack. Plus- a supply of coffee to get us started. This house is definitely NOT a frat party house. It is beautiful and elegant and comfortable. The linens were fresh and clean and the comforters were really cozy We will definitely rebook this house for out next trip to the mountains. The house had everything you needed for a great stay, great towels, sheets, wine opener, glasses, etc. It had a nice open floor plan with great light also. There’s plenty of parking, a beautiful two story wood fireplace, a huge hot tub to relax in after a long day on the hill, a game room and beds for everyone. There is also a private office for the work from home crowd. It's five minutes from downtown Breckenridge and a breeze to get into town. The house is very clean and the kitchen has everything you might need. Whoever set up this house did a great job making it feel like home , only better! We all loved the layout of the house. The kids could be in one area and the grownups could be hanging out chatting in another. We only ate a few meals at the house because we were so close to the town of Breckenridge that we just had to go back to some of our favorite restaurants. Really liked the kitchen setup. It was clean, modern and had pretty much anything you could possibly want Smart TV's all over the house . I can't remember exactly but I think there were at least 4 of them in the house. And a BIG 65 TV in the family room We only had one issue. Deciding who got the master bath! It was HUGE! Loved the hot tub and were grateful for all of the extra towels the management company left for us. We knew we were taking a chance on this rental because it's new to the market and didn't have many reviews. We sure lucked out. Loved the Manor and can't wait to come back next time We have been to Breckenridge 4 times before and Merlot Moose Manor has by far been our favorite. It's tucked into a beautiful neighborhood 5 minutes from the gondola. Great views, great yard and an overall a beautiful home. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook each night for our group without feeling like any tools were missing. Winding down in the hot tub at the end of a long ski day was the perfect way to end a day. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, and there are plenty of sitting areas for everyone to do their own thing if they want. Parking was also ample which is always a plus.
