The gondola runs till 6pm in summer and 5pm in winter, making it a very long walk back uphill if you go out to dinner There are a few Peak 8 properties lower down that are walkable to and from town. some have ski in access, but to ski out you will have to walk across a busy street to the Gondola to ski out. The Gondola at Breck isn't like most Gondola's where you can ski as soon as you get out. Here when you get out of the Gondola you have to walk about 70 yards to take the ski lift up.brbrPeak 7 is all Gondola dependentbrbrPeak 9 Warriors Mark West Area . Many properties here are advertised as ski in ski out. You have to be an experienced skier to ski in, and is very dependent on snow conditions. For all but 3 or 4 properties, if you can ski in you have to walk up a very long steep flight of stairs the approximate equivalent of a 3-4 story building.
