All of these attractions and more are just a short drive away! Tweetsie Railroad is just under a 30 minute drive. The Mast General Store is about 10 minute drive (6 miles) and ASU and Boone is about a 10 minute drive back into town. is just a 7 minute drive away (4.5 miles). The Tanawha Hiking Trail (5 minutes away or 1.7 miles away), stretching 13.5 miles from Julian Price Park to Beacon Heights, parallels the Blue Ridge Parkway on Grandfather Mountain.
