HUGE Decks, Long Range Views, PickleBall, 5 Bedrms, 3 with King Beds, 5.5 Baths

Awesome house!!! Beautiful views!! Perfect for three families (six adults, six kids). Owners were very easy and great to work with. Open outside areas for the kids to run and play. House has everything we needed. Will be back!

This house is a quintessential mountain house with all of the nice wooden details. The views are amazing and the house was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. It is about 30 minutes into Blowing Rock or Boone but we enjoyed being a little further out. The basketball, pickleball courts, and fire pit (all very close to the house and walkable) were a nice addition to the stay. We had dinner at the Lookout Grille one evening and we highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was set up perfectly for 4 couples. Everyone had their own rooms/bathrooms. It was an easy ride to Blowing Rock where we shopped, had lunch and enjoyed the day. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had.

Great time as usual! Beautiful setting and very accommodating house layout.

We had a quick but fun weekend

This home is very accommodating, there was enough room for 4 adults and 5 teens where we didn’t feel on top of each other, not to mention steps away from hiking trails, pickleball courts and a pavilion. The best spot was on the back deck enjoying the view and each other’s company. Blowing Rock and Boone were about 20-30 minutes away.

We absolutely LOVED our time at your amazing home! The Blue Hole, pickleball, trails, pool and huge deck were all highlights!

There were 6 Adults and 4 children on our recent stay. We all enjoyed the house, views and club activities while we were there. The house was a true mountain house and was very warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this house and club.

Our first reaction was, “Wow!!! Driving this mountain is a lot. Why didn’t anyone review the drive?” Because your destination more than makes up for it! Amazing! Best weekend ever! The place is gorgeous and suited our family perfectly! Every amenity thought out and nothing is left to chance! Bed’s are so comfy and every room is stocked with fans, chargers, toiletries. Labels and notes everywhere! The Lookout Grill is awesome and we loved the pickleball court, basketball, multiple fire pits, walking trails. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a quick long weekend with the extended family. Everyone commented on how well laid out it was for our group. Great for groups with kids in tow.

House is near a beautiful walking trail, huge fire pit, basketball court, covered pavilion. About 20 minutes to Blowing Rock or Boone. House has everything you can need. Managers are excellent!

We had 5 cousins and their spouses stay here for a reunion. It was PERFECT! Great kitchen, well stocked and we used it - did a lot of cooking. The outside fireplace was wonderful gathering spot over coffee each morning. Amazing views. Comfortable furniture. Beautifully decorated. Lovely rental!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable, as is the furniture. The main floor deck is huge with wonderful views; we spent more time on that deck than anywhere else. The hosts were communicative and responsive to a couple of minor issues on check in... wonderful to work with. A minor issue... wifi is a little spotty; I was working the week we were there and Zoom/Teams was a little spotty. I think, though, that that is more an issue of the mountains than this house in particular. Overall we very much enjoyed out stay and recommend the property highly and without reservation.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, On the Rocks was a perfect vacation spot for our family!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking, The home was well designed and stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the comfortable deck fuimiture which is where we spent most of our time. . The beds were really comfortable too! For most of the trip it was just my husband and I but My husbands brother and his wife joined us for a few days. The house allowed for each couple to have their own space which made a really nice visit. This home is in a gated community with tons to do. We went hiking, rented our first ATV ( highly recommend)and) and the gym with its amazing view made workouts so easy. We rarely left the property.. We are hoping to be back soon! One of our best VRBO stays! Thank you!

Beautiful surroundings, prime location, huge and spacious home with everything we needed - thank you! Four families converged from North, East and South and found an amazing place for us just outside Boone and Blowing Rock. Everyone had enough space and more than enough to do (you know your family and how everyone needs something different). We couldn't have been happier with this VRBO.

This house was the near-perfect place for our extended family of 6 adults, 5 children, and 1 baby. The descriptions were accurate. We were not disappointed. The house is within an enormous gated ‘community’ stretching along a high ridge where gorgeous long-range views abound, including the one we enjoyed from the deck. Our family filled the house, but it never seemed crowded. When an additional 6 adults and 2 children joined us during the day for a family reunion, the house continued to serve us well. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space. The beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. We frequently gathered around the outside fireplace from early morning to well into the night. The owners were responsive, gracious, and quick to address any concerns. My family was talking about returning while we were still there. We had a wonderful stay.
