Welcome to Adirondack, an extraordinary mountain estate and distinguished Bob Timberlake Signature home nestled into the mountainside just minutes from Boone. Offering more than 7,500 square feet of refined living space, this architectural masterpiece blends rugged mountain character with elevated luxury, creating an experience that feels like stepping into one of Timberlake's iconic paintings.

Follow paved roads past stone walls and private waterfalls as you arrive at this breathtaking retreat. Massive timbers, hand-selected stone, granite, bark, and rich hardwoods define the exterior, while long-range views stretch endlessly beyond. The paver-stone driveway accommodates up to five vehicles and leads to a grand entry framed by dramatic tree-trunk columns and an ornate carved wood door reminiscent of a mountain castle.

Inside, the attention to craftsmanship is unmistakable. From solid wood carved doors and offset window frames to thoughtful architectural details throughout, every inch of this home reflects intentional design. The soaring great room welcomes you with vaulted, exposed-beam ceilings, a wall of windows, and a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace. Leather furnishings invite you to relax fireside, while a cleverly concealed flat-panel TV hides discreetly behind artwork when not in use — a signature design touch.

The chef's kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful, featuring custom cabinetry, expansive granite countertops, a massive island with gas cooktop, stainless steel appliances, and bar seating. Just beyond, a spacious dining area accommodates up to ten guests. A nearby laundry room with soaking sink, a private office nook, and a convenient main-level half bath add everyday ease to luxury living.

The oversized primary suite on the main level is a private sanctuary. Vaulted ceilings enhance the spacious feel, while a King bed, gas fireplace, and deck access create a serene retreat. The spa-like ensuite offers dual granite vanities, a jetted soaking tub beneath a window, and a tiled rainfall shower.

Upstairs is thoughtfully designed for families, offering three additional sleeping rooms: a King bedroom, a room with a Full and Twin bed, and a bunk-style room with four Twin beds plus two trundles (sleeping up to six). These rooms share a full bathroom with shower.

The lower level is built for gathering and entertaining. A sprawling game room features a pool table, foosball table, marble-topped card table, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV, wet bar, and comfortable seating. Three additional sleeping spaces are located here: a Queen suite with private bath, a King bedroom, and a Queen bedroom that share a full hall bath with tiled tub/shower and rainhead.

Outdoor living is equally impressive. Step onto the expansive deck to enjoy cool mountain breezes and forest views. Lounge in plush seating under the open sky, or gather in the covered outdoor living area complete with a built-in gas grill, prep sink, fireplace, and outdoor dining space — perfect for evenings spent reconnecting under the mountain air.

Perfectly positioned less than ten minutes from downtown Boone, Adirondack offers both privacy and convenience, placing the High Country's shopping, dining, and attractions just moments away.

Awesome location, good communication.. we let our hosts know about a few plumbing issues as well as internet troubles. They were quick to respond and helped us rectify the situations. Would totally stay again!

It's a beautiful house and secluded. But there is only one bathroom on second floor.

We had a very memorable weekend at this property with family from three states attending. The house and detail of the build kept conversations going and everything really is spaced out and placed well. Plenty of beds and space for cooking/entertaining. The grill didn’t work but that was ok because there’s a flat top grill in the kitchen and a hood. The beds were clean and the interior was generally well taken care of but the toilets wouldn’t flush half the time (luckily we were able to fix them when they broke, over and over). Plenty of hot water in such a big house and not a peep or sound from another neighbor while we were there. Wifi was basically unusable but who cares? Didn’t go to the mountains for the internet. Cable TV took care of the needs of those who wanted it, the rest of us hung on one or more of the gigantic covered porches. Overall, an amazing property and well worth the price!!!

The home is lovely and plenty of room is provided for a large group. However, we chose this home over others because it stated WiFi was available and included. Given the nature of working remotely due to COVID, this point was critical. When we arrived I received a call from Carolina Cabin Rentals saying the WIFI was down and a new modem was being delivered overnight. We came home from town to find the modem on the porch. After calling Carolina Cabin Rentals, maintenance eventually came Friday night to install. We were told by maintenance it was an AT&T issue and they could not come out until Monday. We even went to town, bought a hotspot with a years service contract, brought it home and there was still limited signal. As a result, my husband, one of the hosts of the weekend, had to leave and go home in order to do what was needed for his job. The company was not prepared for this and in fact the last entry in the guest book commented on this same issue, so its easy to assume they were aware of the internet issues. We received no help from Carolina Cabin Rentals. This is a multi-million dollar home in which we paid handsomely to stay. Cabinets in the kitchen are broken, handles on windows are off and laying on the windowsill. Some basic maintenance and management oversight would make this a five star property, but right now it is not.

As always renting from Carolina Cabin Rentals is a win win. This home was big enough for all. Others had issues with parking we didn't. Had 5 cars backed in none were blocked ever. The only complaint is the WiFi. It is extremely week. So I just disconnected for the week. House was so wonderful we booked it for a week In April!

We did enjoy our stay at the cabin, it's quite large and isolated which is exactly what we were looking for. However, there were issues with understanding how to use some of the appliances and showers. I think a form left on the countertop explaining some of these things would have been very helpful. We never did figure out how to use the television in the living room, but there are enough TVs around the house that were easily accessible it was not a concern. My only complaint would be that the deck and furniture had not been cleaned and were in our opinion unusable during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely use Carolina cabin rentals again!

We had a wonderful stay with 4 other couples- high points included the outdoor grill and great Porch even though some cushions were missing. Serene setting away from the world. Premium grill but a tad complex to operate. Comfortable beds, Plenty of parking and downstairs hangout space. appliances could be updated even though they are Viking from circa 2005. The following comments are more for benefit of maintenance needing attention- Ice maker not working; Half bath toilet lever and flush valve unreliable ; WiFi not reliable - at least 5 resets daily; MBR bath lacks towel racks; Outdoor fridge not working and stanky; No clean large skillet Lower level fridge not working; 1 Kitchen drawer won't shut which ordinarily not a big deal but was in front of cooktop; WiFi not reliable - at least 5 resets daily. Despite the maintenance items, we would return in hopes the above maintenance is expected performed as most result from wear and use.

Honestly, we travel constantly, and I have never had to work with such a terrible rental company. They just didn't care. There were several things broken(fireplace, stove, ice-makers, dryer, etc)and not working at the house. They were non-responsive and not helpful. It was so disappointing because this house is expensive. The house, itself, is beautiful. The view is gorgeous. However, Carolina Cabins does not care about their renters. The house itself, for the size of it, was not stocked well. One non stick frying pan for that size of house? The wet bars were not stocked with glasses. One towel per guest and no extra's. It was very disappointing! I would NOT recommend this house, but more so I would NOT recommend this company.
