Badger's Den- Cozy Treetop Studio

The property was clean, comfortable, and suitably located. We enjoyed our time there and hopefully stay again when in that area.

What an adorable place in the woods. Tranquil, pristine, need not bring anything but food and drink. Close to trails, App State. Loved!

Very clean and cozy! Nice porch and rockers at the studio, but best view of Grandfather is from the summer house (which is behind the main house). Very convenient location for hiking in Moses Cone and exploring both Boone and Blowing Rock.

We had a great time staying here!! The small path to the summer home is beautiful and absolutely magical. The home was comfortable and very clean. It’s apparent how well the hosts take care of the place and we’ll definitely be booking this place again in the future.

We stayed here to ski at Sugar Mountain for the weekend. The location was very convenient to both Boone and Banner Elk. The hosts were wonderful and our stay there exceeded our expectations.

What a delightful studio. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the bakery cookies, the stocked coffee bar, and stocked water and soda! Plenty of comfy linens. The studio was secluded, but conveniently located to town and ski lodges. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return in the fall. I highly recommend the Badger’s Den.

This is a small but very beautiful place to stay! 4 people can stay comfortably but with little privacy due to everything in one room other than bathroom. Owners are absolutely great to deal with! Very clean with small gestures from owners like muffins on table some drinks in fridge and shampoo and conditioner in shower! 10/10 We absolutely loved this place will definitely be back!

Badger’s Den is a wonderful and cozy haven near Blowing Rock. The place has lovely views and provides a cozy cabin feel. The linens and bedding are good quality and the kitchen is well appointed and stocked with basic necessities. We appreciated that the coffee bar was stocked and there are special touches and attention detail everywhere you look. There is good internet and access to tv streaming services. The host was easy quick to respond to questions and to offer suggestions re: activities and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again in the future. Would highly recommend

Great studio for a nice weekend in the mountains. Space was spotless and well-equipped. Comfortable furnishings with the fridge stocked with drinks and tasty pastries on the table. Easy drive to Blowing Rock and local hiking spots.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary/babymoon trip to the mountains. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! This is a perfect location close to Blowing Rock and Boone. We loved the theme and decor inside it was the perfect little studio. Erik and Sharon were thoughtful to leave us treats from a local bakery and a little gift for our baby on the way. Thank you for your hospitality; we’d love to stay again in the future!

We had a great 2 night stay at the Badgers Den. It was clean, cozy, & in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the views & the delicious cookies that were waiting for us when we arrived! The space had everything we needed. Kitchen was well appointed to make a couple of quick meals. Even had some oils, spices, a few bottled waters, & some sodas. Directions to & instructions for the property were clear & easy to follow. It is located in between Boone & Blowing Rock. The drive to & from is pretty, but lots of up & down & winding roads. We would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was very convenient for simple meals and heating some of the terrific leftovers from area restaurants

Clean, light, well appointed

Badger's Den was a sweet, cozy getaway. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The grounds were so beautiful and the studio was peaceful.

This is a perfect getaway location. We enjoyed the privacy and the location is near Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Quiet & apartment is perfect. Kitchen had premier cooking utensils, pans, and I loved the extra care with coffee or tea and dishes. Excellent one room for a couple. Walking up to the garden house called Mole Hill is an extra perk. We loved Badger’s Den and the theme from Wind in the Willows!

Awesome location to Blowing Rock and Hound Ears CC. And the wood path makes you feel like Hansel and Gretal would be meeting you anytime. Just a spectacular place.

We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay for 2 nights at the Badger's Den. It's a really cute, clean property. Everything went well. The owner communicated well with us prior to our stay, so the place was easy to find. Lots of nice amenities like super comfy pillows, plush towels, and even some pastries left for us for our breakfast. Would 100% stay again.

Cozy, well stocked mountain hideaway with complementary water, variety of soda, and pastries. Conveniently located fifteen minutes from Boone and ten minutes from Blowing Rock.

We loved our stay. Nice and quiet. My son enjoyed the trail and the koi fish pond. Also my son added that he loved the bathroom door. He loves the woodwork on it.

Driving up to the Beavers Den was so beautiful and when we walked up the stairs and opened the door, we were blown away by our first impression. Adorable, quirky, cozy. We were blessed by the pastries, coffees, and having the comfy furniture inside and out. The walk to mole hill was a treat and we spent time on the porch of the summer house enjoying the views Loved it. Will book again!

Most of the places we’ve stayed in around Boone have been great. The owners of the Badger’s Den had little touches though that made it more special. There were local pastries awaiting our arrival, the fridge was stocked with waters and sodas and the towels were the thickest, fluffiest I’ve ever used! Communication was clear and immediate and we appreciated our hosts being so helpful!

My husband and I were blown away when we arrived by the beauty of the grounds and the whimsical feel of the apartment. We felt like we had stepped into magical hideaway with all the sweet details and thoughtful touches. As soon as we left we immediately began planning a return visit!

We had the most amazing stay at Badger’s Den!! The hosts provided a clean, cozy “cottage” complete with little details of whimsy throughout the space (plus a couple of delectable pastries from a local bakery ). Very reasonable pricing for everything included with the space. We will absolutely be coming back!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Badger’s Den! The space is so cozy and decorated adorably, we absolutely loved it. Hosts were friendly and communicative, even buying fresh made pastries for us to enjoy. 10/10 recommend and will keep in mind for our further ski trips!

This is the cutest little pad. Well equipped with everything you need for a little getaway and very clean. Cozy landing spot after a day of skiing or shopping at the little local shops. Owner made check-in and check-out super easy. We will be back!

The location is perfect between Boone and Blowing Rock about 15 min from each. It was a nice super clean studio loft perfect for a couple. Tv, coffee/tea, fire pit outside on the deck couldn’t get any better. Communication from the owners was great and welcoming. The property is like a mother in-law suite to their house. They are not intrusive at all but if you need them they are close.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Badger's Den! It's an adorable cozy studio apartment cabin over the garage, with great views of Grandfather Mountain! We loved the mountain views and trees surrounding. The cabin was very clean upon arrival, and property owners purchased pasteries from a local bakery for us that were absolutely delicious! 10 out of 10.

This location is close enough to town but also far enough that you feel like you are in the mountains! Space is decorated and provisioned very well! Would definitely stay again.

Badger's Den was just a nice, peaceful accommodation, with ALL the right amenities you could ask for. Our hosts supplied items we didn't expect, i.e. welcome pastries and soft drinks in the frig. abundance of soft, quality bath towels, well equipped kitchen, etc., etc. Couldn't believe that YouTube TV was actually provided! My wife and I stayed at Badger’s den over the 3 day Labor Day weekend and we loved it! This was our 2nd time at Badger’s den and we will definitely be back. We love the setting, it feels like you are in a treehouse. So relaxing and peaceful.

Lovely, extremely well decorated spacious mountain chalet/studio on second floor. Near Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain. Everything you need—the hosts are so friendly (Sharon and Gene) w Eric helping. All questions answered promptly. Golf nearby, outstanding restaurant Gamekeepers 5 min away ideal for anniversary but reservations needed. Nice little summer house/room steps up hill behind host’s main house w romantic view of Grandfather Mountain, coy pond, deck w very comfortable chairs. So much more. Such a nice stay. We’ll be back.

Badger's Den was truly wonderful. The property is conveniently located between Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain. The studio apartment above the garage is simple but well equipped for a couple. The greenhouse cottage was a great place to sip coffee and read a book. We had a great time and hope to revisit Badger's Den again.

Comfy one room loft with kitchenette, balcony, full bath and relaxing furniture. Comfortable bed. Stairs with 15 steps to front door. Mini cool refrigerator needs updating due to frosting issue. It's a 15 minute drive on winding mountain roads to get to either Boone or Blowing Rock. We would return.

Great place to spend a getaway in the Blue Ridge area. It was just right for us. Neat, clean, efficient and so pretty.
