Woodland Vacations Little Owl Chalet is a charming small home with a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain located in Wilmington, NY. This new construction vacation rental is minutes from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. We provide a cozy rental near all the wonders of the Adirondacks. Little Owl sits in a quiet area that is walking distance to some of our popular local spots. Close to skiing, hiking trails, mountain bike trails and fishing. Walking distance to local chocolate treats, to the beach where you can swim and kayak or just walk across the street to the local pub to get food and drinks. Ironman race passes right by our rental property and is also minutes from the Poormans Mountain Bike trail. brLittle Owl Chalet is a two bedroom and one bath home. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a balcony that has a stunning view of whiteface mountain and the sunset. You will be greeted by our two wooden owls on the railing with Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our second bedroom has a full Adirondack bed with wooden view. The house has plenty of outlets for all your plug in needs. Little Owl accommodates 2-4 people comfortably. The first floor has an open concept and allows the space to feel much larger. The kitchen is stocked with the basics and includes fridge, oven/range, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker to make a quick meal to enjoy there or on the go. The large windows in the livingroom provides wonderful light and awesome views. The bathroom has good space and rustic charm to it with the wine barrel sink. Our home is equiped with wireless internet. Little owl is non-smoking and pet friendly. Each room has a flat screen tv's for your viewing pleasure. Each room includes air conditioning and is well heated for the winter. The chalet is fully furnished by our own Woodcutter Rustic and Woodland Designs. You will find our tiny home has all the Adirondack charm throughout. brThe Little Owl grounds is an open but wooded area. It has a great space for parking. Off the deck you will find a charcoal grill for that summer BBQ. Next to the house is a five person hot tub. In the middle of the property sits a large fire pit with Adirondack seating. Three miles from the Whiteface Mountain ski center, perched on an 18 acre wooded slope divided by a year-round peaceful mountain stream, a beautiful rebuilt Adirondack cabin, with pine floors, and an old stone fireplace. The cabin has three bedrooms, two with queen beds, and the third with bunk beds, so the cabin comfortably sleeps six. Add 2 baths, a hot tub, a balcony and deck with mountain views, a kitchen, washer-dryer and a 2-bay drive-in car port. Linens, cooking and eating utensils, Cable TV, cable modem for high-speed internet access, and DVD, a rustic and relaxing home away from home. Seasonal chills are kept out with a hot air furnace. We have noted the return of our eagles to their nest at the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, across from our dock on the the Ausable on Jan 30th.
