Location was great- 5 minutes from Whiteface lodge. Theresa was extremely helpful and responsive. She also had great suggestions for activities and such. The house had everything we needed for a group of 11. Great restaurants in lake placid a quick 20 minute drive away. Fireplace was a nice bonus too!! Would love to come back another year!

This is a very nice accommodation that has been tastefully redecorated with modern bathrooms and the beds are so comfortable!The kitchen was the standout feature as it was the best equipped kitchen I've ever come across! And there is plenty of seating for a large group.Everything is well organized and well thought out. The owners provided special welcome touches for our arrival. The communication was excellent and easy to check in.The backyard fire pit, lighting and surrounding chairs make for a magical evening!I highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back again!

What an amazing house for a sibling reunion. As a family we rent a home once a year and this home ranks in the top 3 of the 18 that we have stayed at. Comfortable beds, luxury towels, very, very well stocked kitchen, large dinning table and so much more. Bikes, Kayaks etc. Theresa was always quick to respond and called us the first night to make sure all our questions were answered and that we knew where all the lights etc were. We will stay again if we wander back to that area of our- great free USA! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

All 6 of us golden girls had a wonderful time at your Mountain Rock Lodge. You have thought of everything to having a FULL stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need , to the lights on timers, bumper pool, foosball game room and the bottle of champagne you put out and the decor was amazing in every room. Every where you look you see something you didn’t notice before. I would call it Mountain Rock Lodge Elegance ! We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and hanging out by the fire pit. And to our surprise was a cozy starlit dining leentu … loved it ! The recommendation you gave us for dinner at the Whiteface Cottage was delicious and the High Falls Gorge hike was gorgeous!Thanks a bunch Terry and Paul for making our vacation so amazing! We had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable for 6 adults, two children (ages 7 and 9), and a 2 year old. Plenty of room for everyone. We made use of the poker table, played foosball, ping pong, and corn hole, and enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook and serve meals. We were able to make use of 3 adult bikes and the kayaks which are available to guests and this was a major bonus for our group. Theresa was a wonderful host. She was very easy to deal with, responded promptly to all questions, and gave us many good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. She offered to let us stay a little later on the day of our checkout which was much appreciated. The public beach and playground in Wilmington is 5 minutes from the house and was a great destination for our grandchildren. We highly recommend this home.

Our group had a great stay! The house was as advertised on the site. It was clean, warm and cozy, and had great amenities. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a large group. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and provided great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. If we plan another trip to the Adirondacks and this house is available, we would definitely be repeat customers.

This was a beautiful and wonderfully equipped house with loads to do in the surrounding area. Our three-generation family had a marvelous time. The owner was very communicative and helpful, and gave us loads of useful tips and recommendations. The hiking was particularly fun, as were the water sports. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property that feels like home. Great place to experience all that the ADK’s has to offer…winter, summer, etc. It’s a beautiful home with awesome amenities…wonderful kitchen with everything you might need, high-end bathroom products and towels, very comfortable bedrooms, game room, wonderful fire pit, etc., etc. Also, very close to local outdoor activities, hiking trails, Lake Placid Olympic venues, Whiteface Mt., etc. And the hosts couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Wonderful place to gather and make memories.

Theresa and Paul were incredible hosts. Their property is beautiful and immaculately kept, down to the last detail. We found everything we needed and felt like we were staying with friends. The weather wasn't ideal, and they, unprompted, allowed us to do a late checkout - which afforded us the opportunity to get some last minute fishing in - catching the most fish of our trip. Thank you!

Theresa and Paul were excellent hosts and their home was exactly what we wanted. I’ve never stayed in a VRBO with such great amenities and such a well appointed kitchen. Great care was taken to ensure we felt immediately at home. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. The house is well equipped and very well layed out. Plenty of room the play games, puzzels, chill and cook. The house is close to everything. So very convient.

Beautiful home!

Outstanding stay at the Mountain Rock Lodge for 4 nights. Theresa was a wonderful host providing great communication and really making us feel welcome. The home is clean and potentially even better than the pictures. Lots of bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and a great open main level to cook, dine, and hang out. For skiers, the proximity to Whiteface was incredible, allowing us to spend more time relaxing and less time commuting to the mountain. Highly recommend! We would book again without hesitation.

This house was perfect for a group of 12 extended family visiting the area to ski, snowshoe, and explore Lake Placid. We so appreciated how well equipped and lovingly decorated the house was; and our host, Theresa, could not have been more responsive or helpful. The house is light, homey, comfortable and in a great location. Enjoy!

As soon as we walked in we were amazed at how beautiful this rental was. It looks to be very recently remodeled but still had that warm cozy lodge feel. They had 5 bedrooms which was ample for our group and even a bonus room with a futon that could be used as a 6th bedroom. 4 full baths (2 being en suites ) and very very clean. The owners were so helpful and quick to answer any questions We would give it 10 stars if we could. We hope to be back someday

The home is beautiful, clean, and very well appointed. Terry was a lovely host and very attentive. We enjoyed all of the Olympic legacy sites, skiing and hiking. A wonderful home in a great location.

We had nine adults and two kids staying at the lodge and it was spacious enough for all of us! It is an incredibly well maintained and cared for home that is comfortable and also luxurious. The owners are so kind and very responsive. Our whole group kept saying what a wonderful and beautiful home and how it worked perfectly for our group. This is a property you don’t want to miss out on!

Everything was exactly like advertised. Our family had a great time. Everything in the house works perfectly. Kitchen very well stocked with pots, dishes, glasses, flatware, etc. will definitely book this again!

We had a great time her for a family gathering. It was in a quiet area with plenty of room and everything we could need. Host was very communicative and the house was very clean.

The house was better than the pictures show. Spotless and well furnished with kitchen basics and supplies. The 11 of us in our extended family all were comfortable throughout the stay.We loved the fire pit and games that were available. This house was beyond our expectations. From the art on the wall to the books on the table and kayaks we used down at Willmington town beach, this vacation house pressed all the buttons. Kitchen and dinning area was focal point for our family meal being comprised of top notch appliances and table ware. The fire pit and ambiance was icing on the cake, allowing us to create memories for us and our children that will last a lifetime.
