The lower level has a bedroom with bunk beds and queen fold out bed/couch, full bathroom, laundry room, and family rec room with foosball, ping pong, X- Box 360 with video games, yoga equipment, and a selection of toys for younger children. There is a Pack and Play, high chair, and Bumbo for your use as well. Available to watch are: Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Apple TV and over 350 Live TV Chanels on Roku. The wrap around deck has a gas grill and table for outdoor dining. The lower level has a fire pit and the lake front has a private dock perfect for fishing, swimming, or taking out one of the 5 kayaks available for your use. brThe summer months are magical here at the lake. Bring your bike and take a ride around the community's quiet and low traffic roads. Visit one of the 3 playgrounds (age 1-5 is best), 2 pools, private beach with BBQ pits, or any of the other amenities included for free with the wristbands provided with your stay. In the fall the Hudson valley transforms into a picturesque landscape perfect for a hike (so many just a short drive away), apple picking, pumpkin picking, farmers markets, and visiting local wineries or distilleries. Visit the slopes to ski or go tubing in the winter- Hunter and Windham mountains are a short 20 minute ride. Historic Hudson offers many casual and fine dining restaurants, antique shops, galleries, shopping, etc. The towns of Athens, Catskill, and Coxsackie are 5-15 minutes away for convenience stores, grocery shopping, liquor stores, restaurants, breweries/bars, bowling, and movie theaters. Two bedrooms have queen beds; the master bedroom with a canopy. There is minimal light pollution nearby, but if you find you sleep deeper in pitch black, the other bedroom has an adjustable king with two layers of blackout curtains. We chose these beds to be both comfortable and low toxin, giving your body a break from the pollutants in most furniture and bedding. brFoodies, rejoice: the kitchen features an island countertop; stainless steel appliances; generous cupboard space; and non-toxic, non-stick cookware to help you create your own delicacies using the local bounty. You can also microwave popcorn/leftovers and relax watching a movie or your latest binge on the big screen, smart Roku TV—which supports all your subscription services—while you sip a beverage from your coffee bar. The stone fireplace affords the option of a cozy fire which can help you warm up after a day on the slopes. These must be clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard when accessing the community and amenities. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house will make you feel like you’re not at a VRBO, but at home. Swim, fish, tennis, golf, ski and snowboarding! And only minutes from the chic town of Hudson!brRelax in this lakefront oasis just 2 1/2 hours from NYC in Sleepy Hollow Lake. Our house is located in Athens in a private community in one of its most beautiful and peaceful coves.brbrWe are located 30 minutes from Windham and Hunter mountains and close to the towns of Hudson, Catskill and Coxsackie and all the restaurants and shops these lovely towns have to offer.brbrOur Space:brOur lovely home is lakefront and has more than 80 feet of shoreline. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee maker, large dining room table, large sofa with a full sized pullout bed and a living room with cathedral ceilings and 3 skylights. There is a bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bath. There are 2 patio sliding doors which lead to our spacious patio with an outdoor sofa, coffee table, 2 comfortable chairs with ottomans and a hammock. There's also a retractable awning for shade and a 4 burner propane gas grill. Down the steps there are 2 more decks, 1 of which has Adirondack chairs, and our dock which has a ladder and allows for summertime swimming. Enjoy our firepit off the 2nd deck. Our guests also have access to our 3 kayaks and lifejackets. There is sometimes a boat parked at the dock during the summer but access is not permitted.brbrOur 2nd floor has a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a 2nd bedroom with a twin sized bed with a trundle. There is also a bathroom and a washer and dryer.brGuest access:brGuests will have access to the entire house except for the owner's closet on the 2nd floor and all the FREE amenities our community has to offer which includes 2 community pools, lakefront beach access, basketball court, and tennis courts with a pickleball court. WRISTBANDS AND KEY CARDS PROVIDED for access.brOther things to note:brWe are 1-MIN walking distance from the Main community area with a Clubhouse, pool, playground and lakefront beach.brWe do NOT allow smoking but we do allow pets with pre-approval.brWe have a Ring doorbell at the front entrance and a Ring camera facing our boat/dock for security purposes. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, plus an added trundle bed. Lastly, the fourth bedroom is an ensuite area that also has a Queen sized bed, plus a small kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. This area is spacious and has a remote work area, and extra space for the provided Deluxe Queen Air Mattress.brbrThe kitchen is fully equipped for all your basic cooking needs, including kitchen pantry staples such as spices and cooking oils. We have a Keurig coffee maker, as well as toaster, microwave, water heater and other kitchen staples. To add to your convenience, the home also has a washer and dryer.brbrThere is no shortage of areas to relax and unwind. The rocking chairs on the quaint front porch are a perfect spot for a morning coffee while you enjoy the scenic views. The back deck has a patio table and a propane Grill. Indoors, we have multiple lounge areas, including a Smart TV with a Hulu/Disney Plus/ESPN Subscription perfect for a family move night. In addition, the fully finished basement offers added space and currently has a ping pong table, kids size air hockey table, and dart Board (more to come!!)brbrThe home has private lakefront access on a cove of the lake, where we have two kayaks, one canoe, and a paddle boat on hand for your enjoyment (seasonal availability). There are also a number of bikes stored in the shed for your enjoyment.brGuest accessbrbrKeyless entry makes accessing the house a breeze. The home has a spacious driveway that can fit multiple cars. Within a three minute drive, we have the Sleepy Hollow Lake Sports Complex which house a community pool, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, golf range, and small play area. Within a 10 minute drive, you can reach the Sleepy Hollow Lake beach area that is great for swimming in the lake, picnicking, or simply relaxing and taking in the stunning views. There is also a large community pool, and kids play area - making it a wonderful place to spend the day! Parking is available in all areas. Please note that use of these facilities is limited to Sleepy Hollow Lake members so guests will be provided with the necessary wristbands and key cards for access.
