It is not a full-time rental and we visit the property as much as we can. The property has plenty of campfire wood, towels for after swimming, kayaks, and a paddleboat to use on the lake. Life vests are also available for your use. A professional cleaning service is engaged to clean the property before you arrive. The house is tucked away on a private neighborhood drive. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway and on the road for cars or a boat trailer. Fun for the entire family! The porch is the game room, which has a pool table and dartboard to entertain your friends and kids for hours if the days are filled with rain. Large windows and sliding doors in the living and dining areas provide scenic views of the lake. The living room offers a wood-burning stove and a television set with cable along with high-speed WI-FI internet access with multiple network choices. Newer devices connect well and the speeds are fast, but older hardware may struggle if they have not been updated. We use the WIFI for work and there is plenty of bandwidth for the entire family. The dining area provides seating for 6 facing the lake. The living room has large glass sliding doors to the deck, which offers a gas grill, additional outdoor dining space for 8, and stairs to the large back lawn with 65 feet of level lake frontage. An open kitchen is well equipped and is arranged to provide a fantastic view of the outdoors as well as open up to the dining and living rooms. Off the kitchen area, you will find the laundry room with a full washer and dryer along with a full bathroom with a shower.brbrIn the back of the home, there are four bedrooms. One bedroom has a Beautyrest king bed mattress and is tastefully decorated in cottage decor. The other two bedrooms offer a queen bed and a double bed. The three back bedrooms have closets for your use. A large den (the fourth bedroom) has a bunk bed that comfortably sleeps two children (or adults). In addition, the den has a pullout couch. The living room also has a couch that converts into a double bed for additional sleeping space for guests. The 3 bedrooms sleep 6 (master has king bed, while other 2 bedrooms have full-sized beds), with a queen sofa-sleeper for 2 additional guests in the living room. brbrThe level yard and large back deck open to 90 feet of direct access to Honeoye Lake, and the attached deck has plenty of seating and is fenced & gated, which is great for our younger guests. Our home helps you relax and take in lake life the moment you enter. It has authentic, original knotty pine walls that are beautiful and homey. With a wide open floor plan, you can view the lake and Bristol foothills from the kitchen all the way through to our lake room via the huge picture window. Our 50' wide lakefront property has a level walk to the lake or to the dock, fishing off of which is loads of fun. Lake access is just a step into it or a boat ride off the end of the dock! (Please wear water shoes due to zebra mussels.) We have a canoe and a kayak for rent if you wish to use it. Otherwise, bring your own watercraft or rent it from the local marina, Trident. The lovely lapping sound of water puts your mind at ease while you sit on our spacious patio with plenty of seating, table space, sun-shading umbrella and Weber grill. The fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows or making smores while you look at the night time sky or across the lake. Firewood is available around town or bring your own if you are within 50 miles of our cottage. We have lawns on both sides of the road that provide for plenty of room to play games. The road, off the main drag, is quiet and neighbors are friendly. Restaurants, stores, gas stations, wineries and scenic trails are all a short distance away. In the town of Honeoye, there are a couple restaurants, two shops that feature crafts from local creators, a yarn shop, grocery store, and a drug store. Naples is 20 minutes away with Grimes Glenn State Park (so much fun), several wineries, restaurants, a quilt shop and an Artisan craft shop. Canandaigua is just a 30-minute drive. We have three bedrooms, two with queen beds, the third one has a single and trundle bed. Although they are not large bedrooms, they are adequate for a week at the lake. All bedrooms have in-window air conditioners. There are no televisions in bedrooms. Who needs one when you can gaze at the beautiful lake All bed linens are supplied. The living room also has an air conditioner and/or fan that's large enough to make it comfortable in the open floor plan. The main room is quite large, lots of room for dining at the table, lounging on the sofa and recliner, playing games, and looking at the lake from most all places in the room. The television is in this room. We have wi-fi and there is streaming service with information on how to get to apps. There is another room at the front (lake side) of the cottage with another fantastic view of the lake. It's pretty close to a panoramic view. The sunrise comes through the windows in this room and it's really a sight to behold. It's fun to have morning coffee in here if you don't want to venture outside so early in the morning. But, nothing can beat being on the deck next to the water with your morning Joe or fishing from the dock as the sun comes up. The deck/patio has tables and seating for a good number of people. We have all sorts of trays available for you to easily carry your food from the kitchen to the deck. We have two bathrooms. One bathroom has a full tub/shower combination; the second bathroom has separate shower and toilet facilities and is incorporated in the laundry room. Towels and wash cloths are supplied as well as beach towels. Washer and dryer are there for your convenience. All appliances and utensils are in the kitchen and basic spices are supplied. There is a code to enter the cottage that will be provided the day of your arrival. Enjoy!
