Adirondack Cabin Near Whiteface Mountain Resort!

We had the best time at the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone, cute mountain decor. We absolutely loved the fireplace and fire pit and the dog friendly features (crate, beds, toys, bowls). Cabin is conveniently close to Whiteface mountain and short drive to Lake Placid. Hosts wee responsive and very accommodating. We would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, and well stocked, The hosts were wonderful to commumicate with and they provided all the neccessities. Looking forward to our next trip.

We loved this place. The house was very nice and well supplied with things. The owners were VERY attentive and quick with their responses when I sent an email. Plenty of space for 4 adults, a kid, and a dog. Our dog loved roaming through the woods and playing in the creek. Our daughter also loved the creek and the swing. The record player was a huge hit with everyone as well! We can’t thank you enough for sharing your house with us!

Incredible property! The listing is very accurate and the owner immediately responds to any questions. The house was very clean with everything needed to spend time with family. We’ve been traveling and staying in many rentals over the past month, and this was our favorite location.

What an amazing place to stay! We’ve stayed in many rental homes and this is one of the best! My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and a large dog. This one floor home was easy to navigate for the grandparents and had fun loft spaces for the teens to retreat to. 10 minutes to Whiteface mountain and easy to find. Beautiful home with cute decorations - just like in the pictures. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to create a great family meal. The outdoor grill, fire pit, and sauna made for a fun spot to gather around. Our dog loved it and was quite happy to gaze out the windows into the large yard and forest. Lovely and quiet dead end road to take the dog for a morning walk. We would love to return.

This rental was our home base during a ski trip to Whiteface (only a few minute drive from the mountain). Everything about this property is well thought out and makes you feel like you're at home away from home. Owners were available to answer questions beforehand and even popped over during our stay when we had an issue with one of the circuit breakers. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! My entire family loved it and can't wait to return! Still talking about it a month later!

We stayed here to enjoy a family ski vacation. It is only about 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain ski resort and about 20 minutes to Lake Placid. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The house is a short driving distance to a small grocery store, a cute candy store and some restaurants. The home was well equipped. Thanks for a very pleasant experience.

There are very few times I’m left nearly speechless when asked how my stay was but this is one of those times. This place was the gold standard for vacation rentals. Pictures don’t do the it justice as it is really in the middle of a beautiful undisturbed pristine forest area. Nature has been left to do her thing, truly a special place. I would have paid twice as much. The host really was prompt and courteous every step of the way. We usually go to Vermont to ski, this changes things for us.Grateful we found this gem.

This is such an awesome home! There is not one thing that isn't 5-star. We stayed here for the past two Thanksgiving weekends and enjoyed every minute. Just perfect.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids - 10 and 12) + dogs loved our stay at the Blackhaus! The house was so cozy and had great amenities - we loved the kitchen ?, lofts, and yard/woods. We spent a lot of time with nearby hikes, playing games, and visiting downtown Lake Placid. Everything was so clean and well thought out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Blackhaus in Wilmington! Even before our arrival our hosts were responsive to issues and Andrew sent a great photo from the patio to get us excited! While there, Andrew was quick to respond to a question we had, and checked in the next day to be sure our question had been resolved. The home is impeccably furnished with both an ADK cabin feel and a modern, industrial loft. Furniture and beds are comfortable for relaxing after a day of enjoying and exploring all the hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc. that the High Peaks offer. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing family breakfasts and dinners at the house. Loved all the natural light in the main area. Definitely recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at Blackhaus. The property is in a beautiful setting and has amazing ammenities! We loved that we were close to Whiteface Mountain to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery and trails. Andrew is a great host that truly cares that guests enjoy their stay! We highly recommend Blackhaus with its exceptional location and modern design and decor.

We had an amazing stay @ BlackHaus! Great hosts and easy check in. The house was full of extras for those with families of all ages. The beautiful kitchen aloud us to cook meals as we chose. The drink bar, sauna and game room were a nice touch. We finished 2 of the 46 peaks, road bikes up Whiteface and finished our stay with rock climbing and rock hounding in Keene. Thank you Lacey and Andrew!

We loved the location and the Blackhaus. The cabin had a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking pots and pans as well as dishes. Everything was perfect upon arrival. We loved Lake Placid, Whiteface mountain and Ausable Chasm.
