Start up the wood burning stove (limited wood supply) and make the house feel super cozy. Lounge on the leather sofas and gaze out the windows to take in the view of lush foliage, switch on the Smart TV (where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account) for movie night or the big game, or enjoy one of our board games with your group. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen which has an expansive island and stools for gathering around and a dining room with enough seating for your group to dine together.brbrSleeping ArrangementsbrHideaway Lodge has 6 traditional bedrooms which altogether can sleep up to 11 guests. With 4 King Bedrooms (one of which has an en suite bathroom), 1 bedroom with two Twin beds and 1 bedroom with a Full bed you will find room for your entire group to spread out. All of our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens and are thoughtfully decorated. Smart TVs are in all the bedrooms as well, where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account. All bedrooms have spacious closets with shelving so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. At two of the bedrooms, you will also find a work desks, perfect for working on a laptop. Each room has its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. brbrThe KitchenbrThe Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for such a large group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too. Also in the Kitchen area, you will find a full-sized washer and dryer for your use. brbrBathroomsbrThere are 3 bathrooms at Hideaway Lodge. On the first floor, you'll find two full bathrooms, with one being located off the main living area and the other one nested within the Master Bedroom. On the second floor is another full bathroom, accessible from the corridor. All three bathrooms have a spacious shower as well as a large soaking bathtub, perfect for filling with bubbles or salts to kick back and relax. All of our bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer in each, and super plush towels. brbrFor the kiddos (and parents)brAs parents ourselves, we understand the fun and challenges that come with traveling with kids. We’ve stocked our home with creature comforts to make your stay with smaller guests more enjoyable. For dining we have BPA free plastic dinnerware and cups for the kids as well as a high chair for our smallest of guests. Our home has a crib, which can be folded down and moved to your room of choice.brbrOutdoorsbrStep out to the back patio and you will find a paved space, great for you and your guests to dine al fresco at our outdoor dining area. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. On the main floor there is a full kitchen, living room (smart TV with Hulu, Roku, etc), one bath and an elevated deck with an outdoor gas fire-table and patio seating. Our master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and aqueen bed along with an ensuite bathroom that includes full tub. Bedroom 2 has a KING size bed, and bedroom 3 has two twin beds. Sleeps up to 6 people in beds with a roll away bed option on the first floor level that accommodates a 7th Guest. While we rarely recommend a roll-away bed for adults seeking a very comfy bed, they are often perfect for teens and kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring a 7th guest. Our wonderful rental property is located in the absolutely most ideal location in Lake George Village. Its just around the corner to the busiest block of Canada Street. The arcade is so close the kids can walk there without crossing the street. Shepards Park Beach is just on the other side of Canada Street where you can picnic, use the playground, sit on the beach and swim. There are also concerts held in the park. Restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance. brbrIf you feel like exploring there are many activities in the area including hiking, The Great Escape, boat rentals, mini golf, etc. We will do our best to help you find activities that fit your needs.brbrThe house is 2 floors and the configuration is great. The downstairs has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, laundry and a bathroom. The living room has 2 couches and a large roku smart tv with cable. There is also a sitting room with a futon and a small computer desk with wifi. The upstairs has a separate entrance but is connected through the living room. The door can also be closed and locked which would be perfect for separate living spaces for 2 families, etc. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms one with queen and one with a double, a small living room with futon with a small tv with roku and cable, and small kitchenette and bath. The kitchen does not have a stove upstairs but there is a small refrigerator, sink and microwave. brbrOutside the front door there is a large covered porch. On the side of the house there are 2 decks, one covered one uncovered. All are large enough for a few chairs to lounge around on. There is parking for 3 cars but you could probably squeeze in 4 if necessary. There is also a grill outside for your use.
