Breathtaking Views Near Lake Placid and Whiteface

The house was amazingly comfortable and spacious for our family! It has ample space in the main floor and a separate area in the basement. The host was very responsive and helpful!

This property was perfect for relaxing, exploring and taking in historic places. We enjoyed the open space, the hot tub, sauna and the views were stunning. We played games at the table and those of us who wanted to watch a program on the TV we’re able to while they played. It does have a large game room on the lower level, but we mainly stayed on the main level for the view and outside deck area. We went to the Olympic museum, Santa’s workshop, the ski jumping, the Adirondack museum, the salmon hatchery, River Trail for lunch and brew, Big Slide for lunch and brew, the Crow for lunch and brew, and many other things. We even went down and walked in the stream. We made many memories. Thank you,

Our stay at the Algonquin Mountain Chalet was perfect! The view of Whiteface was stunning. The house and grounds were impeccable and stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay! We are already looking forward to another stay at this lovely chalet!

Stayed for 5 days a loved the time spent with friends and family. House is as advertised. Easy to get to, travel from. We did tons of activities from hiking to dining to swimming all within 5-20 minutes of the property. Best of all was the nights spent out watching the stars next to the fire and the coffee mornings enjoying the Mountain View’s. The walk to the river is interesting and water shoes are a must for this section of the river but we even managed to catch a trout on a fly line!

Location is perfect for skiers and Lake Placid interests. View from house is stunning. House is nicely stocked and hosts, Judi and Aseem, were very attentive to all our needs and concerns.

Perfect for a family trip to the North Pole. The hot tub had astonishing views, the sauna worked perfectly. With board games and ping pong and so much room it was a great stay with our six adults and various ages of 6 children and our dog! Nobody had a bad time on this quick trip. The owners were excellent communicators. Would definitely stay here again.Oh. And the floor lay out is great for children under two as every door can be shut and the outside doors can lock and there is no risk of a child falling down the stairs.

It's not every day you find such an immaculately clean and well-maintained getaway that offers both privacy and picturesque landscapes. The hot tub was a particular delight, providing a soothing respite to our sore muscles after days filled with canoeing and hiking adventures. Evening time brought its own spectacle, with the star-studded sky brilliantly clear, allowing us to gaze at the Milky Way with nothing but our naked eyes. The lack of light pollution in the area made this experience even more profound. This cabin didn't just serve as a place to stay; it was a vital part of our vacation experience, enhancing every activity and moment spent there. Without a doubt, this VRBO cabin is a hidden gem that provided us with unforgettable memories. Whether it was the awe-inspiring views, the pristine cleanliness, or the luxurious hot tub, every aspect of our stay was incredible.
