Yellowstone National Park’s north entrance in Gardiner, MT is a GORGEOUS 40-minute scenic drive that follows the famed Yellowstone River and is the ONLY entrance that is open year-round into Yellowstone’s Northern Range where you can drive your own vehicle from Mammoth Hot Springs to Cooke City, MT during the winter months.brbrWhitewater rafting, scenic river floats, fly fishing, hiking, private Yellowstone Park tours, hot spring soaking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, winter wildlife viewing, and downhill skiing are some of the fun activities that are offered in this area. The town of Livingston is a 25-minute drive and offers many restaurants, shopping, museum, grocery stores, bars, gas stations, post office, hospital, pharmacy, park and more. There is a small grocery store and gas station in Emigrant, which is a 15-minute drive. The Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport is a beautiful 60-minute drive…unless you stop to take photos along the way (which we’re sure you’ll want to do)! brbrHome Amenities Include:br- 2,025 sq. ft. of living space on one level with propane heat, electric fireplace and air conditioning. This home does not have central air, but is cooled with portable air conditioners to ensure it’s comfortable during the summer months. Please Note: 5 stairs are required to enter the front door.br- Private Parking. It’s a 2 mile drive on a maintained gravel road to our vacation rental. The speed limit is 25 mph.br- Sleeping Accommodations: 4 bedrooms. (3 bedrooms each have 1 queen bed. 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds). Plenty of closet space is available in each bedroom.br- The master bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom, 2 large walk-in closets.br- 3 full bathrooms (2 bathrooms have a tub/shower combination. The ensuite bathroom has a separate shower and tub, along with 2 sinks).br- Dining room is connected to a spacious outdoor deck. The gas grill is located on the deck at the entrance. A beautiful log table comfortably seats 6 indoors. Deck furniture is provided for outdoor dining on nice days. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas offer stunning views of the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains!br- 2 living rooms. A beautiful electric fireplace and Smart TV are in one living room and the other offers a comfortable space to read, play games, relax, etc. Board games provided.br- High Speed WiFibr- 55” Smart TVbr- A small office is located next to the dining room and is equipped with a desk and chair.br- Laundry room with a washer/dryer. Laundry detergent is provided. Iron/ironing board.br- The well equipped kitchen has a refrigerator/ice maker, four-burner electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, pots/pans, dinnerware, drinkware, utensils, toaster, blender, coffeemaker and tea kettle. Basic cooking spices are provided.br- If you’d rather eat out, there are amazing restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive including Chico Hot Springs Resort, Sage Lodge, The Livery Stable, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, WildFlour Bakery, Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Pine Creek Lodge & Cafe which all offer a variety of delicious menu options, along with libations. Some of these great establishments offer live music on the weekends.brbrWe live onsite in our own home and are available for any questions or guidance. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Livingston and two scenic nature trails. brbrDetails of the house - brThe main floor has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms (w/queen beds), a full bath, living room with TV and large windows, dining room, kitchen, and a pantry, which have all of the items you'll need for meal preparation. Stepping outside, a wrap-around deck features two separate eating areas, highlighted by a private nook for relaxing and dining in the Montana outdoors.brbrThe lower level features an entertainment room complete with a 75-inch TV and sound system for movie nights and a separate Library Nook where you can relax and have some quiet time with a book or regional magazine from our collection. You will fall in love with Livingston's character, beauty and friendly locals. brbrThe Downtown Lovely is in one of the most beautiful, historic buildings downtown. Once a hotel during Livingston's heyday when it was the original entrance to Yellowstone National Park; the bright and peaceful space is all you need for a quick weekend in Livingston or a longer stay for work or travel. Did we mention, it is just lovely ... brbrThe one bedroom apartment is located on the second level with extra tall ceilings, large windows, a newly remodeled kitchen with updated appliances and a large bathroom with clawfoot tub. brbrThe living room has a couch that converts to a very nice queen size sleeper sofa, smart TV, Victrola record player and a few eclectic tunes. The quaint dining area has seating for 4, and a large desk for any work from home needs. brbrThe apartment has high speed internet . We also have two window ac units - one in the bedroom and one in the dining room.brThere is no onsite laundry, but we do have two laundromats in town.brbrWell behaved pets are allowed with PRIOR approval and a $200 non-refundable pet fee. They must be kept on leash and there is no area for them to do their business unless you walk around the block (and of course pick up after your pooch!). They are not to be left unattended (and not barking) in the apartment. brbrParking is 2 hour just in front of the apartment, but less than 1 block away are city streets where cars can be left overnight and longer than 2 hours. brbrABOUT LIVINGSTON AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD: brResting on the banks of the Yellowstone River surrounded by majestic mountains. Livingston delivers an eclectic blend of shops, museums, Golf course, galleries, live theater and music, as well as unique restaurants for every taste. Livingston and Park county have endless breathtaking ranges, fun and hardworking ranches and romantic shops, diners and restaurants. So, around town you will find you can eat, drink and play easily on foot. However, we recommend a vehicle so you can drive to Yellowstone, hiking trails and other excursions. We always recommend 4 wheel drive.brbrThere are 24 steps to get to the apartment. There is no elevator in the building. Parking is limited on the street and 2 hour on the streets just outside the building. Vehicles must be parked 1 block away to avoid the 2-hour parking tickets!
