We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful property just outside of Livingston. It was the perfect home base for our multi-generational family trip, which included my husband, my sister, my son and daughter-in-law, and their two children. The home was thoughtfully decorated and very well-equipped. Everything from the furnishings to the kitchen supplies showed care and attention to detail. The kids especially loved discovering a selection of board games for the times they weren’t outside exploring. One of our favorite things was relaxing on the deck and taking in the stunning views. We loved watching the deer wander through the property throughout the day, and the kids loved having the space to run and play outside. The location was ideal: peaceful and private, yet with easy access to Livingston, Bozeman, and Yellowstone. We felt tucked away in nature, but never far from everything we wanted to explore. Our hosts, Jean and Mark, were wonderful. They were gracious, thoughtful, and the perfect balance of available and hands-off. We rarely saw or heard from them, but when we had questions, they were quick to respond. When the weather suddenly turned cold one day, they reached out right away to make sure we were warm and comfortable. They were also kind enough to introduce their goats, Huckleberry and Blueberry, to the grandkids, which made their day. This home was a highlight of our trip, and we are so grateful to Jean and Mark for sharing it with us.

We had a great stay here. The house is great with 2 living rooms and plenty of space for our family of 5. Beautiful surroundings and close to Yellowstone national park. Owner provided lots of extra items for our stay like coffee, tea and hot chocolate, a few spices, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap and hand soaps, extra paper towels, coolers for day trips and probably more that I am forgetting. I’m confident that if there was anything else we needed she would have provided. It was super helpful not having to purchase every little item for our stay. Would return and recommend highly!

Jean and Mark's house was very very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had all the conveniences of home and the view from the back deck was simply spectacular. Jean helped us plan our stay by offering suggestions for photography and hikes we would not have discovered on our own. In particular, she told us about a great spot to observe Grizzles fattening themselves in preparation for winter. We highly recommend this house and Jean and Mark as hosts.

This property is everything it is advertised to be. The place was clean and well stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, etc. Everything you would need for an enjoyable stay was provided and everything worked well. The host responded quickly to any questions we had and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I revisited this area.

We stayed on the property for one week with our family of 6. The property was a beautiful hour drive to Yellowstone. We were far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the land but just 20-ish minutes away from town. The house itself was beautiful! The owners were absolutely lovely and easy to get in touch with. We appreciated all the information on hikes/things to do/places to eat. Cannot say enough nice things about the owners or the property. We would love to come back.

We loved staying at this house. Mark and Jean were great hosts and responded promptly to questions. We enjoyed meeting them and also the goats and dog! The house has amazing views of the mountains and it was nice and quiet on the property. The house was large enough for everyone to be able to spread out and have their own space. We were there while it was very hot outside. The house doesn’t have central a/c, but did have two portable a/c’s. They were enough to keep the house comfortable and if you liked it a little cooler at night, there were fans to help move the air a little more. We didn’t cook a lot at the house, but the house had everything you need in the kitchen. There is a grill outside and we grilled dinner a couple nights. We usually packed picnic lunches to take with us into Yellowstone each day. We brought our own cooler, but I did notice one in a closet if you didn’t bring your own. We made a grocery run to Livingston one time and when we needed to resupply water or sandwich items, we usually stopped at the small Grocery store in Gardiner. We explored Yellowstone every day during our stay here. I will point out it is a fairly long ride from the property to Gardiner/Yellowstone. I think it was about 40-45 minutes. But we felt the positives of the property far outweighed the extra driving to get to the park. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the absolute best time! Mark and Jean are amazing hosts. We came from Florida for 10 days and stayed the first leg of our trip here. I honestly did not want to leave. There is so much to do right here. The home was comfortable even though it is very warm there right now. We kept the shades down on the windows during the day and the a/c units and fans were fine. We were on the road for much of the time, but the house was roomy and has everything you need, great coffee maker with kcup option, pans, plastic ware for storage, etc. Mark gave us many great ideas for dining and sight seeing. It’s about 50 minutes to Gardiner which is the north entrance of Yellowstone. We used this for the north and northeast sides of the park. We went back to Livingston twice, loved it there. I would absolutely return and stay longer next time.
