Pearl Lake, an 800-acre spring-fed lake, is a virtual wildlife preserve, with bald eagles, blue heron, and loons nesting here. The swimming, kayaking, fishing, and hiking are excellent. Some boats are available including two paddle boats and kayak. We have a small beach area, smaller than usual due to exceptionally high lake water this year. New air conditioning unit. Comfortable living rooms with big-screen TV. Dining area and well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Linens, towels, and other amenities are provided. A large deck surrounds the cottage, great for dining outside and catching beautiful sunsets.brbrThe main cottage has an open floor plan. There is a queen-size bed in an alcove, with a screen separating it from the living room. There is a king-size trundle bed on the four seasons porch. There are two bedrooms, one with queen-size and one with double bed downstairs, and two full baths with showers. Our lake home is suitable for families with all ages, a fun girls getaway, or 'seasoned' couples. brThis is a 4 bedroom/2 bath lake home that comfortably sleeps 9 in beds. There also are two sleeper sofas: one in the Great Room upstairs (Queen-sized) and one in the lower level room (Full-sized) on site. Those rooms each have televisions. Our favorite area is the 3 season room where a lot of your time will be spent when not outside. The house is also equipped with a full kitchen, dining area and laundry. brThe lake home sits on 110' of sandy frontage on our beautiful, peaceful and family-sized 576 acre all sports lake. Lake Ann is a spring fed lake and is one of the cleanest in Northern Michigan! Fish for blue gill, sunfish, bass, pike and brown trout. We offer a fishing boat and 4 kayaks for your use. The L-shaped dock has a sun deck with a sandy swim area and a swim raft which is great for all ages to enjoy! You can relax in one of the two hammocks or on the large two level deck with great views of the lake; watch for the bald eagles to fly by or the loons to do some fishing just past the end of the dock. Near the shore there is a nice level grassy area where you can have fun and play yard games. We also offer a fire pit where you can roast hot dogs and make s'mores while singing your favorite campfire songs or tell stories around the fire. The neighborhood is a great place to walk, jog or ride bikes. brThe town of Lake Ann is just minutes away where you will find Lake Ann brBrewery (live entertainment), Stone Oven Restaurant, Lake Ann Grocery Store (If we don't have it; you don't need it), Red Door Coffee Shop, a public boat launch and a park. brLake Ann is a short 20-30 minute drive to Traverse City and the National Cherry Festival, Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Crystal Mountain Ski Resort and Spa, Interlochen National School of the Arts and much, much more. Situated on two acres, this private, idyllic location has a multi-level spacious home that will sleep up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.brbrThis spectacular home welcomes guests with artisan stone floors and contains furniture and art from around the world. There are high ceilings, a skylight, and color everywhere. Facing east, all back bay windows and doors have views of the lake and pool. Off the kitchen, there is a den area with a sofa bed, cable TV with ROKU, a gas fireplace, and a wall A/C unit. The main floor has a large room with a piano, and three bedrooms, and the fourth bedroom suite is on the upper level. The spacious garden level has additional sleeping space with a queen bed and a twin bed and remains cool in hot weather. There is a smart TV, and lots of space for games on rainy days. This floor also has a dry sauna and leads out to the pool.brbrOutdoors is magical. Surrounded by 1,600 acres of state forest, Sanford Lake is a tranquil 50-acre no-wake lake. There is no public boat launch on this lake. A rowboat, canoe, and kayak can be used to enjoy the peaceful waters. No fewer than 59 bird species have been identified from the property such as redwing blackbirds, who live in the cattails on the lake shore, several varieties of ducks, woodpeckers, flickers, and a pair of nesting loons. Sport fishers, be prepared to catch a wide variety of fish on this lake, including bass, pike, bluegill, and sunfish. brbrAlthough the shoreline here is soft, there is a spot on the other side of the lake for sandy swimming.
