Large home has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. brThe Kitchen is equipped with dishes, basic pots/pans, utensils, toaster, slow cooker and Keurig/coffee pot combo w/ pods provided. BYO grounds, decaf, cream & sugar. Paper towels and cleaning supplies are provided. brThe Living Room is spacious with a 13’ ceiling and comfy seating for watching movies and napping. TV has Roku for logging into your own streaming accounts plus an assortment of DVDs. brbrSitting Room - Relax in our sitting room with a card game and a variety of board games and puzzles for all ages. An exterior door opens to the corner porch, which can be lighted at night and is lovely for keeping cool in the summertime (no AC).brbrTwo bedrooms are on the main floor with queen and double beds. The double room connects to the bathroom. Three bedrooms upstairs with twin beds and two sets of bunk beds.brbrThere is one full bathroom (Sorry, only one toilet in this old house! That's how they did it in the 1800s.) It includes the original clawfoot tub w/ shower but there’s an extra shower stall and sink vanity in the laundry room for added convenience. brbrQuirks - This old house has original wood floors, very tall ceilings, cast iron registers, solid wood doors with original handles and a staircase that is creaky. It’s the kind of house that is made for an episode of “Home Town” on HGTV. The bathroom is in the center of the home and is a passageway from the kitchen to the middle bedroom. The master bedroom was originally a parlor room therefore there is no bedroom door. Instead, Curtains provide privacy from the sitting room. There is also no AC in the home - it is cooled the old-fashioned way but fans, newer windows in many rooms and the porch doors provide plenty of breeze.brbrOutside: Large corner lot with parking space for up to 4 vehicles. Covered parking for two vehicles. A large city park is across Division Street behind the house and is great for playing catch with the dog! If you are looking for the perfect location with an outstanding view. This is the place for you. We sit on 9 acres overlooking the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. You can rent a watercraft directly across the road at Summertime rental. Take one of our canoes down the Jordan river and float all the way back home. There are two public beaches less than a mile away in either direction. Next to the Tourist Park, there are tennis and basketball courts. We have two wedding venues less than two miles away, The Jordan Valley Barn and the Boathouse. Castle Farms and Charlevoix are 9 miles away. Boyne Mt and Boyne city are 10 miles away. This is a multi-family home and can sleep 16. There are living rooms in the upper and lower level of the house. So, the kids can be downstairs and have their own privacy, with room to play. If the kids are adventurous, bring sleeping bags and they can pitch our tent in the yard. They should have no problem being entertained. We have two Smart TVs, board games, horseshoes, cornhole, two canoes and a firepit with a beautiful view. East Jordan is still a quiet little town but up and coming. You can fish, hunt, hike, mountain bike, boat, float and many more things, right here in East Jordan. In the winter the snowmobile trail goes right behind the house and of course Boyne Mt for skiing. I live in the area and can help with any questions you may have. The house has been totally remodeled and is perfect for larger groups..

The spacious kitchen is fully updated with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and two dining islands. There’s also a snack and coffee bar with a beverage refrigerator, perfect for easy mornings and afternoons. Most TVs in the home are smart TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi is included.brbrUpstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms, including the primary suite with a king bed, full bathroom, and walk-out balcony. The remaining rooms include a bunk room for kids and a bedroom with two queen beds, making it easy to accommodate larger groups.brbrOutside, you’ll have access to a private dock that’s great for fishing and large enough to accommodate a 21-foot boat. A launch ramp is located at the end of the street, and South Arm Marina is just a short drive away.brbrThe private beach is ideal for all ages.
