We absolutely love coming to this house. It is our home away from home and the property is perfect. It’s everything you want in a lake house. We have been thrilled to start a family here and hope to continue growing it returning for many years to come.

This cabin is beautiful. Nothing beats coffee on the lake watching the sun peeking through the trees.

Perfect place for a family vacation.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation here. The home is just as it’s pictured. The lake is clean and seeing and hearing the loons was just so Maine! We loved waking up and kayaking and enjoying each meal outside. The adults, kids and dogs enjoyed the stay and we hope to stay again.

This is our second time here, and had my brother and sisters families visit too. Securing online is very quick with the owners & property manager Dan confirming and communicating super fast. It’s so easy. Met Dan at the Cabin for a quick tour. If looking for a great private place on the lake, that has all the supplies of your home, this is it. It’s very clean and comfortable. This time we Kayaked to the nearest island, rented a pontoon boat at the North marina, had several campfires at night, and visited Boothbay Harbor. On our first stay we hiked in Acadia National park and spent time at Bar Harbor. Being from Denver we hope to visit again within a few years.

This is the BEST cottage that we have ever stayed in and have been visiting Maine since 1998. Definitely our family's FAVORITE cottage and lake!!! :)

Relaxing, well fed, entertained, activities, good nights sleep, quiet and peaceful, lots to explore and do. 80 year old grandma 1st time in a kayak, 28 year old girlfriend of grandson 1st time in a canoe. Everyone had a great time. The camp is as described on VRBO and met all our expectations

My family stayed here while visiting for my niece’s graduation, and we were absolutely delighted with this cabin! Nestled right on the lake, it offered stunning views from both inside and out. The setting was serene, and the scenery from the windows alone took our breath away.The property matched the listing perfectly and had everything we needed for a quintessential Maine getaway. We made great use of the fire pit—roasting marshmallows and staying cozy in the evenings—and spent nights out on the dock stargazing while listening to the loons.Although the lake was a bit too choppy for us to venture out far during out time there due to the weather, we appreciated having access to the canoe and kayaks and did give it a try! Inside, the cabin was clean, well-equipped, with plenty of comfy beds!We loved it and will definitely hope to come back here again next time we gather in Maine!

The cabin by the lake is so peaceful. Cabin has pretty much everything you need from the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. I love that they provided 2 coffee makers and coffee, woke up early morning, sipped my coffee, sat in the covered porch, watched the sunrise, and watched the lake. It is an easy access to Colby college. We enjoyed our stay. I would love to rent this place again. Dan was so responsive host. Thank you!

This place was absolutely amazing!!!! We had the best views of the fall colors and the lake. The owners/property manager was great to work with. They also have thought about everything you would need for your stay. Definitely makes you feel at home. We will be booking this place for our next stau in Maine!!!!

This house is a slice of heaven. It’s absolutely perfect in every regard. It sleeps a lot of people comfortably, it has every amenity you could ask for for a lake cabin. Three full bathrooms, and tons of cutlery and plates for everyone. You can tell that the people that rent this house absolutely love it because it’s fully stocked with spices and cooking utensils. It’s clear people take a little and leave a little which epitomizes the character of the owners and the house. This house will be a new family tradition for us and we couldn’t be happier. Dan was amazing too. Thanks for having us Steve and Sherrie!!
