Explore 580+ acre Wilson Pond with host provided kayaks, stand up paddle boards, or paddle boat! Paddle to Joe's Island just off shore for a picnic or drop a line in and go fishing from a kayak or the private dock.

Mt Pisgah Conservation Area and Gott Pasture Preserve, both features of the Kennebeck Land Trust, are each less than 5 miles away. They include several easy to moderate family-friendly hikes with Mt Pisgah featuring a fire tower at the top. Climb up for the best views of the region!

Additional details about the house: The spacious kitchen includes a large island, ideal for gathering with family and friends. The sunroom off the kitchen has floor to ceiling windows and lots of seating for watching nature or just watching a movie. The deck on the front of the house is perfect for grilling and morning coffee while the rear deck off the kitchen offers dining space with views of the lake. The walk out basement opens up to a 3rd deck where the whole party can enjoy an evening around the bonfire. Finally, the 160 sf deck right on the water is perfect for watching boats go by with your favorite beverage in hand.

The home's lower level also features a TV, arcade games, and an air hockey table. Since the bunk room is on this level, feel free to set the kids loose with the arcades while the adults enjoy a game night around the dining table upstairs!

Two other things:
Your host is a Registered Maine Guide and can arrange guided half day and full day fishing trips. Would you like to be picked up right at your dock or arrange to explore one of the 10 other lakes nearby for the day

Note: Our home is on a hill and it's about a 225' walk to the lower deck and lake. There are about 45 steps scattered across the path to the water. Young kids and grandparents seem to do fine with the path, but it is rocky in spots. We share this information as a courtesy for any guests with mobility considerations in their group.
