Located a short walk from Little Lyford Ponds and nestled within 100,000 acres of conserved land, Little Lyford Pond Cabins is operated by the Appalachian Mountain Club, the country’s oldest recreation and conservation organization. Staying at Little Lyford will provide opportunities to hike, bike, ski, fish and paddle out your front door. Your stay supports the AMC’s ongoing conservation efforts.brbrThis cabin is a single room with a double bed, a twin bed, a bunkbed, an unroofed, unscreened porch, a table, chairs, and a woodstove. Linens and towels are not provided. Pillows are provided with a pillow case. There is no electricity in the cabin. Cell service is poor and there is no internet available on campus. There are propane lights for illumination in the evening, but a headlamp or flashlight is strongly recommended. brbrThis cabin does not have a private bathroom. A shared bathroom with composting toilets, hot running water for showers and sinks is a short walk away. A shared sauna can be lit by staff upon request.brbrBreakfast, lunch and dinner are included with rental of this cabin. All meals are served in the main lodge which also has a living room which includes a library and small retail store. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style while lunch is a bag lunch provided immediately after breakfast to take on your adventure for the day.
