The kitchen is defined by a large 8 ft granite island with ample seating for conversation and informal snacking. This combination of spaces allows everyone to belly-up, kick back, bbq, hob-nob and share the day's adventures while watching the chef whips up tasty morsels. Off of the kitchen are a huge well-stocked pantry and spacious laundry room.brbrWhile the main level encourages gatherings and fun, there are two more decks with big ocean views. A smaller deck is off the master bedroom. The 18' x 14' master deck also has with mini kitchenette. If you get to beach and forgot your camera the walk back to the house takes all of three minutes. The terminus for the Avila trolley which runs to shell beach and back is just out the front door, and the bob jones bike trail starts just across the street and runs to slo, shell, and the five cities. The first bedroom on the main level has a comfy over-sized queen, memory-foam sleeper sofa (5 inches). There is a full bathroom with tub/shower combination accessible to the bedroom just off the hallway.brbrUp a flight of stairs to a jr. suite and large master suite. The jr. suite has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combination. brbrAlso on the second level is a grand master suite. The master suite has a king bed and roomy ensuite bathroom. Between the upstairs and downstairs, this home can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests total. brbrIn the upstairs, we have a beautifully appointed bedroom with a plush queen bed and an additional queen fold out bed located in the inviting living area.
