There is road access to many restaurants, wineries, marinas, state park hiking trails, kids activities, parks, etc, all within a few miles of our home. Our large home comes with plenty of space for large groups both indoor and outdoor with a large stationary and floating dock with huge upper deck, hot tub and fire pit terrace for enjoying the beautiful lake views.brbrOur home features a spacious, open floor plan with large windows overlooking the lake providing abundant natural light and views. Fully furnished with chef's dream kitchen, Comcast high speed WiFi, 2 large LED TVs with Xfinity cable and lots of room for family/friends on each of it's three floors and outdoor spaces. All the lake amenities that you could ask for are included with an oversized Raised Deck over the main dock, Floating Dock, Hot Tub, Private Swimming Area, Fire Pit, Large Upper Deck and Lower Patio, Game/Rec Room, Pool Table, Large LED TVs, WiFi, Washer/Dryer, Boat Anchoring and more! The kitchen and pantry hold numerious small appliances and is well stocked with extras.brbrThe main entry level has a large open living room with floor to ceiling windows, 70 LED TV, BluRay Player, a well-equipped kitchen (commercial stove/hood!) for cooking and eating with large groups, Master Bedroom (see bed sizes below), Master Bathroom and a half bathroom. The upper level includes landing/loft area open to lake views below, 2 plus Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms. The lower level has a large Rec Room with Pool Table, Wet Bar, Fridge, 55 LED TV, 1 Bedroom and Full Bathroom.brbrBoth the main and lower levels including the bedrooms lead out to large outdoor spaces which are convenient ways to enjoy the views and lake. Another Queen room resides on this level with plenty of space and a lounge area just outside the door for a space to chill and read. The last room has a bunk bed and beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of parking and room enough for a boat trailer!brbrBedrooms - a three bedroom house with two masters each with king size bed and each with an adjoining full bathroom. The main level features a third bedroom with a queen bed and again an adjoining private full bathroom. On the lower level there are two private bungalows perfect for the young ones. The first has a twin trundle bed and the second has a twin bunk set. Finally there is a brand new queen pull out sofa bed with a surprisingly comfortable memory foam mattress.brbrKitchen - Granite counter tops, double oven, microwave, dishwasher. Fully stocked with pots, pans, and all of the dishes and utensils. Keurig coffee maker, coffee grinder, and drip coffee maker. brbrDining - The home features a casual table outside of the kitchen that seats four and then the living/dining room area has a 9.5 foot table that seats eight.brbrActivities - aside from just jumping in the lake of course other forms of entertainment include ping pong, air hockey, and foosball tables! Who knew foosball was so much fun In addition there are three kayaks available for your use two 12 footers and one at nine feet.brbrDecks - The home features an upper and lower level deck both of which include partially covered sections perfect for staying comfortable during the peak sun hours. Midway between the home and the dock is another deck space with fantastic views of the lake and the cove. If you want to be outside you will find a place that fits you perfectly.brbrThe Dock - the dock features two sections. On the left a fixed portion that is frequently shaded by the covered lift perfect for reading and drinking it all in. On the right side is a floating dock section with a dock ladder and cleats to secure your boat. Lake depth at the end of each side of the dock was measured in 2017 at over 13 feet (of course this can change daily so remember to be careful). Currently the covered lift is not available for use but the deep water alongside the floating dock will accommodate many sizes and styles of boats. Should the covered lift be a priority for you please contact us and we may be able to accommodate your request.brbrInternet - Internet service is 4G LTE. brbrMobile reception - AT&T, Verizon, and Virgin mobile all have very strong signals in and around the home.brbrSatellite Television - Yes.brbrUSB Media - Bring media on your portable drives and plug them in to any of the blu ray players in the home. Supports all kind of file types and we love it!brbrBluRay/DVD - Each of the four televisions in the home includes a blu ray player that is capable of playing a wide variety of file types. brbrBoat Trailer - there is a section of the property right at the road that is approximately 11 feet by 32 feet that is mostly flat and should accommodate most trailers. Of course there is plenty of room for PWC trailers. If your trailer is too big you can store it nearby for an additional fee at a local boat yard.

Large Lake cottage, Ideal for multi-generation families and adults with children, located within the proximity of four marinas where guests are welcome to rent boats. It’s also close to four wineries. Only 20 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway near the “Peaks of Otter.” Close by Smith Mountain Lake Park with a ton of hiking trails. 30 minutes from Roanoke. Booker T Washington National Monument is also nearby as well as a D-Day Memorial in Bedford. Va. brbrThe home is located at the back of a wide cove. There are two Master Bedroom Suites with queen beds, 1 bedroom with two queen beds, a room with 2 twin beds, and a bunk room with two twin over double bunks. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker and a microwave. Dining table has 8 chairs and breakfast bar has two stools. The family room has a wood-burning fireplace and a large Screen TV. The house has a screened-in porch and a deck with a stainless steel propane grill. Please clean grill after each use and make sure gas is cut off at the tank. We try to keep an eye on the propane level but if the gas runs out, please exchange the tank and send us a picture of the receipt and new tank and we will be happy to reimburse you.brbrLower level bunk/rec room with non working fireplace, books, toys, games, Professional foosball table, large Screen TV . The lower level is where the washer and dryer and second refrigerator with ice maker are located.
