'The New River Trail' follows the river from Fries to Pulaski for over fifty miles. It is a 'Rails to Trails' project for bikers, hikers and horses. There is very little incline or decent and you will find trestles, a tunnel, beautiful wild flowers, shoals and lots of cool shade in mostly secluded deep woodlands.
