Newport News, Virginia, United States

Conveniently located in Newport News, VA between Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, and on your way to the stunning Outer Banks of North Carolina, the Hilton Village neighborhood was built between 1918 and 1921 in response to the need for housing during World War I for employees of Newport News Shipbuilding. It is recognized as the United States' first Federal war-housing project. brbrThe Camellia Cottage was built in 1919 and is 1500 square feet. Naturally, it will have a few quirks due to generations of family enjoyment. It is a beautiful property decorated as modern-vintage, and we hope that you embrace its character and charm during your visit.brbrIn addition to short-term visits, we welcome mid- term stays! For traveling nurses, doctors, professionals, and your families, the cottage is minutes away from Riverside Regional Medical Center, Sentara Hospital, and Mary Immaculate Hospital.
