The lake has fishing access per a dock at one end of the lake as well as access for any non-motorized boats such as kayaks or canoes. Most of the year, 4WD or AWD is NOT necessary to get up to the house. However, if there is snow or ice, you MUST have 4WD or AWD to get up the final mountain to the house, but easily done in any vehicle any other time other than snow or icy winter conditions. Mosey on down to the park to take a dip in the water, or put your canoes or kayaks in near the cabin and float down to Elk Shoals that way.
