6BR Log Cabin | Walk to Downtown | Mountain Views

The cabin was cozy, warm and welcoming! We rented both sides for an extended family stay which worked out well, having two kitchens and slightly separated sleeping spaces. But for those renting one side, it would work out just as well. The family room is located on the lowest level of each cabin but works out just as well. The cabin is located very close to a great playground and a very quick drive to shops and dining. Overall a great experience. The owner communicated throughout making sure our experience was the best possible which is greatly appreciated and provided easy to understand access and stay information ahead of time.

Kelly was an excellent host. The cabin was well equipped and the proximity to downtown West Jefferson was a real plus and is truly walking distance even with 10 degree wind chill.

Our family had Thanksgiving here. We had a really nice time. The cabins were well equipped and located very close to downtown.

I can’t speak highly enough of this experience. The hosts attention to detail alone made it a wonderful stay. She provided everything you could possibly need! All you really need to bring Is your toothbrush and clothes! The home is very conveniently located. The view was beautiful as well. You will not be disappointed in the 5 star treatment from Kelly and her family!

The Garnet and Ruby properties worked great for our friend group. By renting both sides we had 6 ladies, 6 BR and 6 baths. Perfect. West Jefferson is a lovely town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice 2 unit cabin worked well for our family

Property was perfect accomodations for our group of 10 adults. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone and great porches to sit and relax. Property was within walking distance to downtown as long as you don't mind a slight uphill walk on your return journey. All bath and bed lines were provided by host, as well as all other neccessary household items. I would definetly stay at this property again if I return to West Jefferson!

Nice accommodations, kitchen ware, bedrooms, bathrooms. Good location to so many things including restaurants. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a really nice place to stay.

Ideally situated to enjoy the charm of the main street in West Jefferson. Well appointed kitchen, supremely comfortable beds and luxury linens. We will definitely be back.

Loved the quaint stay and easy walk to downtown

Our large family stayed in both sides of the cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean on check in. The bedrooms worked out perfectly for each couple and our children loved the arcade games on the lower level which was great for them to stay in. Conveniently located for a walk to the park or downtown to shop/eat in West Jefferson.Kelly was very accommodating with a last-minute request and communicated throughout our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

My family and I stayed at the Drowsy Owl so we could have a winter get together in the mountains. We stayed in both sides of the cabin. It was great having all the room to spread out across both sides, but also good to have areas where we could spend family time together too. The cabin was super clean upon arrival and the check in process is really easy. Kelly is a great host and super quick in her response time. Everyone loved the beds as the mattresses were very comfortable.The two arcade games were a hit with the young ones and us older folks too. Check out process is a breeze. We look forward to coming back and staying here again soon.

Excellent location & super easy to work with owner. We loved the decor, comfort touches, everything! It was so great to be able to walk to pubs & restaurants!

This was our second time staying here and had a great experience both times. Most recently hosted family in town for a wedding and received multiple compliments on the house. Clean, accommodating, and walking distance to the heart of West Jefferson. We will stay here again!

We always go to the Stomp and Brew Festival each year. Wanted to stay somewhere that the family could be together. Very nice cabin and close to town that we could walk. Had a great time.

We had a great time with family and rented both townhomes. They were beautiful, clean, and very well stocked! Also, Kelly was an awesome host with excellent communications!! Great trip to WJ.
