Located in West Jefferson, Bluff View Farm is about four miles from local dinning, shopping, the farmers market, the famous Ashe County Cheese, and the community park. A short drive will bring you to Bluff Mountain Preserve, where you canschedule a guided hike. Mount Jefferson State Natural Area is twenty minutes away and offers trails, picnicking, and birdwatching. Float on the river, or rent a canoe from Zaloo's Canoes, twenty minutes away. Boone is about forty minutes from the home, and is home to Appalachian State University, shopping, restaurants, and parks.

Bluff View Farm is a unique barn-to-house conversion that marries the rustic charm of a classic barn with the sleek elegance of contemporary design. The home sits on over 14 acres, providing entertainment for guests of all ages. Upon entering the barn, guests are greeted with bright white walls and beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors. The kitchen, located off the entrance, will delight the chef in your group, with high end stainless steel appliances. There is a grand dining table with seating for eight guests with additional seating along the wall for six guests. The large picture windows, where the barn doors used to be, allow the sun to brighten and warm the space. The family room invites you to relax on the comfortable couches while warming up by the gas fireplace after a day of exploring the pastures. The tongue and groove walls and ceiling offer warmth to the cozy space. Additional entertainment and TV rooms provide guests with additional room to spread out and enjoy the multi-game game table. The game table can covert into air hockey table, ping-pong, or a pool table.

Outside, a true oasis has thoughtfully been designed to maximize relaxation. Whether you want to read a good book while lounging on one of the covered patios, warm up by the a fire in the fire bowl, or lounge in the hot tub, this tranquil retreat is sure to be a favorite mountain retreat for the whole family. If you're looking to stretch your legs, take a hike around the grounds and take in the breathtaking mountain views from the hiking trails.

Bluff View Farm features six sleeping areas, including two master suites, and can accommodate up to fourteen guests. The spacious loft master bedroom has a king bed, TV sitting area, and a private ensuite. There is also a desk for remote work. This bedroom is open to the floor below. The main floor is home to a second master suite with a queen bed, TV, and private ensuite with a step-in shower. Three barn stalls on the main level have been converted into cozy bedrooms with barn doors and skylights for natural light. Two of the bedrooms have king beds, while the third barn room can sleep three in twin-over-full bunk beds. An additional bedroom off the living room has a full bed and access to a covered sitting area just outside. A common bathroom is located just across the aisle from the barn stalls.

This wonderful mountain home provides, WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. Live TV is offered through Direct TV and guests can log into their own streaming accounts on the smart TVs. The sitting area off the entertainment room features a full futon for sleeping for an additional guest. Please note there are exterior security cameras that capture the parking area, the front porch and side bedroom exterior door, the carport, and the backyard. The gravel driveway leads to large level gravel parking area with a conveniently located EV charger. Pets are not allowed at Bluff View Farm. 4WD or AWD and tire chains are recommended for winter traveling.
