Hidden treasure is an island style beach cottage situated amongst beautiful old oak trees. The house is located on a quite lane about a block long that has the ocean at one end and the sound at the other. Though we are on an interior lot, it is just steps (approximately 80 yards) to either the private beach access or to the small ramp that you have access to the sound from. The cottage itself was fully renovated in 2008-- the interior was gutted and the entire space was redone. It has an open floor plan for the living and kitchen area and all areas look out to the trees. A screened porch and a rear deck can both be accessed from the main living area. A deck lines one side of the house that leads from the screened porch to the covered front porch. Sitting on the screened porch is like being in a tree house-- branches arch gracefully all around you providing a pathway for squirrels and birds to bound from one to another. You can hear the ocean most days from this spot-- it is relaxation at its best. The cottage is about 900 square feet but feels larger because of the open floor plan and raised ceiling height in the living room. The floors are tile through out-- which is easy to clean. The two bedrooms provide sleeping for four-- one has a queen bed the other has a full size. Again it is hard to describe how wonderful it feels waking up to the sound of birds and the ocean and seeing the tree branches surrounding you. Totally relaxing!! Hidden Treasure is perfect for a family getaway, a couples retreat, or girls week away.

Take an afternoon nap on the couch as you look out thru the wall of glass doors at the blue sea. Retreat to the downstairs 2nd family room for some quiet time. Also perfect for multi-family vacations; space for everyone.brbrThe upper level has a wall of glass french doors looking out onto the ocean which is the main living area: kitchen (wash dishes as you watch dolphins!) and dining. The main bedroom is to the left of the main living area (complete with main bath and very large walk in closet) and the other two upstairs bedrooms are to the right of the living area with a bathroom in between them. One of those rooms has a queen bed (sleeps 2 and faces the ocean) and the other room has two separate twin bunks that sleep four. brDownstairs is another completely separate full sized living area with a separate entrance off the patio. It has a wet bar, wall to wall stocked library, full bath and family bunk room (queen bed, and a twin over full bunk-- room sleeps 5). Perfect if you're traveling with another family or with multi-generational family members because everybody can find private space when needed, and then gather in the main living area or oceanfront deck when wanting to socialize. Our home sleeps 13 comfortably. In 2026, we created a private outdoor space off the downstairs entrance complete with grill and additional steps to the upstairs deck. Perfect for grilling, gathering and enjoying family moments and great friendships.brbrWhat are you waiting for This is our dream beach house and we would love to share it with you!brbr***Sheets, quilts & pillows are provided. The main living areas are upstairs on the next two levels. The house has recently been renovated and boasts an open floor plan on the main level with a new kitchen and new stainless steel appliances, dining area with a table for eight, bookcase with books for all ages, and a living room with a 55 inch smart TV above the fireplace. At this time, the fireplace is for decorative purposes only. The kitchen has plenty of space and is well-equipped with just about anything you might need to create meals during your stay...pots/pans, a steamer pot, a griddle, a blender, a toaster, a coffee maker (traditional 12-cup and single K-cups), a mixer, baking pans, casserole dishes, wine glasses, spices, measuring cups, serving dishes, and a large variety of utensils. The kitchen island provides seating for four. brbrThe deck off of the living room overlooks the yard, dock, and gorgeous water views. There is a teak table on the deck that expands to seat 6 people, patio lighting set to an adjustable timer, and outdoor stairs that lead to the grassy fenced and gated yard. brbrBack inside, on the same level, you will find two bedrooms. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (a twin over twin and a twin over full), a large dresser, and a smart TV. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, small telephone table/single desk, en suite bathroom with a tub and shower, a smart TV, and water views. There is a shared, full bathroom with a tub and shower in the hallway between the two bedrooms on this level.brbrHead upstairs to see the breathtaking sunsets from the comfortable bonus room. This cozy space offers a 65 inch smart TV, a desk/workspace, games/puzzles/cards for all to enjoy, and two sofas (one is a sleeper sofa with a new mattress). The deck off the bonus room is the perfect place to soak up the beauty of the inter-coastal waterway! There is a teak wooden chaise lounge chair and small table and two tall, weatherproof chairs on the deck.brbrOff of the bonus room is a laundry room with a large capacity Samsung washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.brbrFinishing off that level is a spacious primary bedroom with a king-size bed with new 14-inch hybrid mattress with cool gel pillow top. You will enjoy stunning water views, a 43 inch smart TV, dresser, and beautiful primary bathroom with dual vanity, glass enclosed, tiled shower with river-rock floor.brbrOutside you will find a wicker bin with sand toys, a Razor scooter, a skim board, a beach cart, a beach umbrella, a charcoal grill, two aluminum cruiser bikes, two adult kayaks and two children's kayaks, life jackets for children and adults, a fenced yard, a wooden walkway, a large grassy area, and a new, private dock with a gate, a fish cleaning table, a bench, and a floating dock for kayaking, fishing, crabbing, and boating. We also provide a large rolling cooler.brbrThe house is an easy 3-4 minute walk to the beach. This area of the beach is typically not crowded as there is not public parking areas nearby. The subdivision offers a wash area/shower at the entrance as well as a bike rack.brbrThe wireless internet connection is very strong and reliable. Cable streaming is offered on all five smart tvs. brbrYour little ones will be well-accommodated too...the property has a pack-n-play, portable highchair, gate, baby monitor, and toys.brbrYour furry family members are welcome too!
