The rocking chair front porch will certainly be your invitation to come and relax for your stay! You are sure to enjoy the evenings, while watching the sun retreat over the sound. Offering 3 bedroom and one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans throughout plus an outdoor shower!!! The Little Beach Cottage is located within walking distance to the Surf City pier, restaurants, shops, beach access and parks.brbrI live about 7 miles from the Island so you can rest assured that I am abrlocal and available if you need anything during your stay.brbrThe laundry room is downstairs (right side door) and the key to that will be in kitchen window. This is the room with the beach things. brbrBeach wagon, 2 striped beach chairs with matching umbrella and 3 canvas beach chairsbrThere are beach toys also.brbrIn the little closet just off the kitchen there are some extra things and please help yourself. Beach towels, etc.brbrI will have the beds made for your arrival so you won't have to pack anybrsheets, towels, kitchen, etc. I provide 5 beach towels providing thebrprevious guest didn't keep for souvenir . It happens and I have plenty.brbrThere is plenty of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins,brfoam dinner plates, and trash bags.brbrbrThere is a Keurig so there will be a few coffee pods to get you started along with a drip coffee maker.brbr6 pack of bottle water in the fridge cold for your arrival.brbrA couple of years ago the town of Surf City installed bike lanes on S Topsail which is wonderful for walking and biking.brbrBeach Access:brbrAs a local, we say “oh, about this far”.brbrI have actually walked to the nearest beach access so I will know exact distance.brWhen you walk out of the driveway and turn to the left you will go 326 normal walking steps. Then turn left onto Seahorse Avenue and walk an additional 126 normal walking steps. There is open parking for up to 6 vehicles. This home is made for family gatherings. A picnic table, stainless steel park style charcoal grill, gas grill, & an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower are located outside on the ground level. The direct beach access is located off the ground level deck. It’s landscaped for privacy.brbrStep inside the entrance from the carport & this home shines with charming beachy décor where surfboards set the stage for a magical coastal escape. The foyer has storage space for shoes, keys, beach chairs & other personal items.brbrMake your way up a few stairs & set your luggage down in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. There’s a queen bed in the ‘fishing room,’ & double-bunks in the kids’ ‘boat room.’ The Master Bedroom at the end of the hall is the ‘turtle room' and is a spacious oasis with a king size bed, a desk with a monitor, mouse & keyboard, dresser, & a Bose radio/alarm clock. This bedroom has a private bathroom, complete with large tub & separate shower. All bedrooms have comfy beds & smart flat screen TVs & DVD players. There is a ceiling fan in most bedrooms with the exception of the bunk bedroom. All Bedrooms have ocean views & sliding glass doors to access the deck which features a porch swing and various chairs & tables.
