Sink into the generously sized, plush sofas adorned with soft pillows and luxurious throws. A nearby armchair begs you to curl up with a good book or relax by throwing some tunes onto the vintage turntable. Maggie Valley is packed full of things to do....putt-putt, shopping, gem mining, elk tours (although you may not have to leave the downtown area to see them). Stroll the charming streets and browse the many dining and shopping options Waynesville has to offer. Checkout the town events schedule to see what's going on while you're in town. During the summer months, there's almost always live music at the park on Main Street. brbrCherokee is a 30 min drive over the mountain and let the adventure begin! Make the stop at Soco Falls on the way...well worth the few minutes it takes to make your way down to the viewing area. Mingo Falls is a must-see....a 200 ft waterfall on the Qualla Boundary. Then there's a small attraction called Harrah's Casino right in the heart of Cherokee if you're looking to take your chances. Cherokee is also an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.brbrIf your stay is long enough to allow for a daytrip, we are only 1 1/2 hours from Dollywood and all the activities that Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has to offer. brbrDowntown Asheville is 45 min away and if you're headed to the Biltmore, you're only a 40 min drive away.
