As soon as you open the car door, you'll understand how Maggie's Song got her name. You're met by the soothing sound of a rushing creek, setting the tone for your peaceful, relaxing stay. Step onto the generously sized covered porch where you're sure to want to spend your morning with a hot cup of coffee. Relax in the rocking chairs or curl up on the comfy sofa and chairs.

Open the door and you'll be drawn into the rustic feel of the living room with its stunning architecture. The soaring ceiling, accented by authentic, heavy beams draws your eyes up and gives the room an open airy feel while still lending a cozy warmth. The natural textures and earthy tones of the furnishings have been carefully chosen to wrap the room in serenity. Sink into the generously sized, plush sofas adorned with soft pillows and luxurious throws. A nearby armchair begs you to curl up with a good book or relax by throwing some tunes onto the vintage turntable. The custom console table holds plenty of games to pass the time with family and friends on those cozy nights by the fire. There's a large Roku TV to enjoy all your favorite shows and movies. A standard DISH network package is also provided.

The modern, well-appointed kitchen is a sharp contrast amid the rustic beams and knotty pine walls. You'll find everything that you need here to prepare a fantastic meal or a quick snack. The coffee station is a Keurig Duo so you'll have your choice of brewing a pot of coffee or one cup at a time using your favorite K-cups. For the real coffee afficionado, there's even a French press to make that perfect cup.

Around the corner from the kitchen, you'll find the downstairs bedroom with a plush king-sized bed to crawl into when you're ready to call it a day. A full bath with a shower/tub combo is situated right beside the bedroom. Outside the bathroom is a modern full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.

At the top of the staircase, you'll find the second bedroom featuring a vaulted ceiling and a king-sized bed. Through the sliding glass door, you'll find your private balcony overlooking the firepit. Here you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while you take in the morning (or night) mountain air.

Right outside the upstairs bedroom, you'll find the second full bathroom, also with a shower/tub combo. Bodywash, shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer are provided in both bathrooms for your convenience.

The loft area, with it's vintage vibe, is the perfect place to put your feet up and sink into one of the plush chairs or just catch up on your sleep with a long nap.

In the backyard, and across the trickling stream, you'll find the firepit area with seating for six. Enjoy hanging out with family and friends perfecting your smores.

In this spacious cabin, you'll have plenty of space to sprawl out or enjoy as much togetherness as you want. With so many nooks to explore, there's opportunity to enjoy a moment to yourself as well as room to gather with your people.

*Note - There is one Blink Doorbell camera on the door that you see when you pull up in the driveway. The camera only monitors the parking area. This is the only camera on the property.

Things to Do:

No matter what time of year, you'll find something to do here. Winter and summer activities and tons of cool places to explore! Any skiers out there In the winter season, Cataloochee Ski Area is a quick 15 min drive from the cabin to the doors of the ski lodge. Tubing more your speed Plan a fun family day at Tube World - only 7 min away right in the middle of Maggie Valley. Santa's Land Fun Park and Zoo is located between Maggie and Cherokee and well worth the 30 min drive. The park operates from mid-May thru the end of October. With it's colorful, Christmas-themed rides and attractions, your kids are sure to want to visit again and again. Maggie Valley is packed full of things to do....putt-putt, shopping, gem mining, elk tours (although you may not have to leave the downtown area to see them). Plenty of local dining options here without ever leaving the Valley.

A short 25 min drive will find you in quaint downtown Waynesville. Stroll the charming streets and browse the many dining and shopping options Waynesville has to offer. Checkout the town events schedule to see what's going on while you're in town. During the summer months, there's almost always live music at the park on Main Street.

Cherokee is a 30 min drive over the mountain and let the adventure begin! Make the stop at Soco Falls on the way...well worth the few minutes it takes to make your way down to the viewing area. Mingo Falls is a must-see....a 200 ft waterfall on the Qualla Boundary. Then there's a small attraction called Harrah's Casino right in the heart of Cherokee if you're looking to take your chances. Cherokee is also an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

If your stay is long enough to allow for a daytrip, we are only 1 1/2 hours from Dollywood and all the activities that Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has to offer.

Downtown Asheville is 45 min away and if you're headed to the Biltmore, you're only a 40 min drive away. You're not far away from anything but far enough to be away from it all when it's time to retreat to your cabin after a long day.

They have a saying around here....When God created the world, he paused just a little longer over Maggie Valley. Come see the beauty of Maggie Valley for yourself and delight in the quiet magic of Maggie's Song.

Only thing better than a weekend in Maggie...a house that far exceeds your greatest expectations!! This adorable cabin did that and more!! I am very picky when I choose a home and seldom re-rent the same one. This one checked all the boxes. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms fully (I mean fully) stocked and the cabin's decorations added the perfect ambience for a winter weekend in the mountains. PERFECT!! Will be back!

This was one of the cleanest places I have ever booked through VRBO. Jodi communicated well throughout the entire booking and checked in with us once we arrived to make sure everything was suitable. This cabin had everything we needed and was very accommodating. We used the grill a couple of times and wished it was warmer so we could have sat on the front porch and listened to the beautiful sound of the waterfall. Everything was just wonderful!! Can’t say enough about this place.

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin. It was clean and comfortable, including the beds, and fully stocked with everything you’d need. We very much appreciated the phone chargers in each bedroom. The fire pit had an ample supply of wood and the covered porch with a heater was comfortable and relaxing. The house is spacious and the bedrooms being one upstairs and one down offered privacy, Jodi and Mike were quick to respond to questions and really thought of everything to make their home welcoming. We plan on making it an annual trip to Maggie Valley and would absolutely like to stay here again!

The cabin was amazing! It was very clean and accommodating for two couples (total of 4 people) but could easily accommodate another couple. Very relaxing stay. For me, getting in and out of the driveway was a little scary. Had to go up past the driveway and turn around in order to make the swing into the driveway. Again…..AMAZING CABIN!!! Would book again if/when we come back to this area.

spent a wonderfully relaxing time in the mountains! The hosts thought of all amenities including a well appointed coffee station :). Despite some thunderstorms we were able to enjoy local museums, water fall attractions, a visit to the local spa, and even some short hikes. Great to be “off the grid”! Highly recommend!

Beautiful is the only way to describe this cabin. We spent hours just sitting on the porch listening to the creek below with it's rushing water fill the mountain side with sound. The birds singing constantly around us as if they were having conversations with each other. The leaves were full and bright. The cabin has all the amenities and was clean and very comfortable and warm. The host were always in constant communication with us. My family and I highly recommend a stay in this magical place!

We had a fabulous time and the home was exactly what I was looking for. We go to Maggie Valley every year and I always want that cabin in the woods with a nice fireplace and comfy furniture. Very nicely updated and we enjoyed the outside fire pit. The hosts were great and always available. I would definitely book again

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maggie’s Song in Maggie Valley and it was absolutely fantastic! The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, with plenty of room for my wife and I. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals. The living room was perfect for relaxing by the fireplace. The surrounding area was breathtaking. We loved hiking through the nearby trails and exploring the scenic mountain views on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin's location was also ideal for easy access to local attractions. The area was perfect for outdoor activities, with hiking trails, nearby waterfalls, and elk sightings just down the road. Overall, our stay in Maggie Valley was wonderful. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and in a beautiful setting. Our host was easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome., We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable mountain getaway.
