A perfect family retreat tucked away in beautiful Northern Cove! With only a few paddles to get to the main lake, our house is situated perfectly in a quiet, tranquil cove and ready for a memorable family vacation. This is a newer listing and set up based on years of renting other properties. Everything is here to enjoy Lake Gaston to the fullest!brbrIt is just a short, flat, easy walk down to the double boathouse which hosts plenty of shade and sun seating options. All the toys are down by the dock; 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddleboards, a big foam floating mat, two pedal boats and don’t forget about the custom Tarzan swing to launch off the dock and into the water!! Refrigerator and stereo system are inside the boathouse along with a variety of life jackets, a pull behind tube for the boat and tow ropes. There are tie ups on one side of the dock for your boat. brbrA fire pit rests in between the tall pines just off the water. Plenty of firewood is available for evening story telling. brbrTwo brand new grills are on the deck just off the kitchen for easy access. A propane grill for every day cooking and a Traeger wood pellet smoker for the more serious outdoor chef. Plenty of propane and pellets are on site!brbrA massive screened in porch gives a quiet lake view. The 4 hanging chairs are a comfy treat! Corn hole boards and bags are hanging up.brbrPlenty of eating locations are available whether it be on the dock, the screened in porch, the back deck, the 12 seater dining room table or the lake view breakfast nook. Food lion and a variety of restaurants and food trucks are all within a 5 minute drive. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies to bring a feast together. Coffee makers, air fryer, crock pot, blender, waffle maker, s’more sticks, measuring cups, meat thermometer, cheese grater, it is all in there!brbrThe master suite is on the main floor with a king bed and ensuite full bathroom. Another full bathroom is just off the kitchen and dining room. Upstairs hosts three separate rooms sharing two full bathrooms. At the top of the stairs there is a landing room with a twin trundle bed. This is a great space for children that want to be closer to their parents and we do not count this as an official bedroom. Walking through this room you pass a full bathroom with a classic stone chimney. The far room has a queen size bed and large screen TV. The third, lake view room also has a queen bed with a half bath connected. A private room connected to this third bedroom looks over the lake with a craw foot tub/shower and yet another single bed with a trundle. The basement is set up as a bunk room and has two, twin over twin bunks and one twin over full bunk. There are plenty of games, toys and a TV in the basement. All of these rooms can be closed off individually with doors.brbrThe garage is set up for fun! A pool/air hockey combo table is alongside a beautiful Stiga ping pong table. A 50 inch tv is ready for your gaming system from home. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ms. Pacman arcade games are primed to bring back childhood memories. Two bikes (one adult, one kid) are available for a pedal up the road.brbrThe living room hosts quaint Northern Cove views from the super comfortable leather sectional. A new 75” Roku TV is ready to sign into whatever app you want for evening movie watching. A wireless mesh network is setup producing speeds over 220 mb’s all the way down to the dock without issue. An office space is right around the corner from the living room and can be sectioned off with doors.brbrWe have a pack ‘n play crib available (sheets included), a toddler bed, and one booster seat that straps onto a chair. Full size washer and dryer are in the closet off the master suite. brbrOnly 5 minutes from Food lion, the dollar store and the ABC store. Public boat ramp also only minutes away.brbrPlease no smoking in the house or on the screened in porch. Sorry no pets. You can also safely stow your boats and PWC on the right side of the dock or anchor them next to our bulkhead. There is a FREE boat ramp only an 8-10 minute drive from the house located at Salmon's Landing.brbrOur home offers the most incredible views on the entire lake with a visibility upwards of 4 miles making it easy to see the passing cars on Eaton's Ferry bridge from the comfort of our sunroom, kitchen, and dock. Our home was custom built in 2021 with large family gatherings in mind. We can accommodate up to 10 adults (12 total), with ample indoor and outdoor common space for your group to enjoy, and 1GB WiFi accessible throughout the property.brbrInside the kitchen opens up to the dining room and living area with a gas fireplace, Smart HDTV and Bose Sound Bar. The kitchen is fully equipped for large Holiday gatherings, including all your cooking necessities and a gas range. The dining room table has seating for 10, with counter seating for 3 at the large island. There is a large pantry off the kitchen, as well as a 1/2 bathroom and laundry room with new washer and dryer.brbrThe Master Bedroom is located right off the living room, and has a separate bathroom and Smart HDTV. There are four additional bedrooms and two bathrooms located on the opposite side of the house, each with a Queen Bed, and one with an additional oversized, built-in bunkbed for the kiddos. brbrThe bonus room/play room is a great spot for the entire family to gather, no matter the age, with plenty of seating (including a large, comfy bean bag), games, toys, movies, and a SmartHDTV. The bonus room also includes a desk, a queen size murphy bed and a door for those who may need to check in before heading to the water. This room exits to the screened in porch, which is a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise or sunset while overlooking the lake.brbrOutside you will find a large dock with a new Weber Gas Grill, seating for 16 and 180 degree views of Lake Gaston. The backyard is grassy and flat with plenty of space to play games like Badminton or Cornhole, or to toast s'mores at night, and is an easy walk to a private dock where you will find kayaks, fishing poles, floats, and life jackets (including kids sizes) for your enjoyment on the water! The dock is located in a quiet cove with 10 ft of water, making it perfect for jumping and swimming, and has a SmartHDTV and plenty of seating to enjoy football in the Fall. brbrIf you choose to bring a boat or jetskis, there is plenty of space to tie to the side of the dock, and is ideal for tubing, wakeboarding, skiing and anything else you might do in a private cove with glassy water. We are only a short boat ride to many marinas and restaurants on the water.brbrWhile the lake is most frequented in the Summer, we have thoughtfully added amenities to make our home enjoyable all year long and hope you might consider the added serenity and privacy during the off-season! Our calendar is more flexible during this time, with both longer term stays (1+ month) and shorter minimum stays (2 nights) available. brbrCold(er) weather amenities include a gas fireplace in the living area, propane fire pit on the deck, real wood firepit in the back yard, HDTV on the dock (think outdoor football viewing while surrounded by water and Fall weather), and year-round wildlife viewing that we cannot take credit for but is a part of what makes our home so special.
