It is the perfect place for a family vacation, a romantic get-away, a girlfriend's reunion or anyone longing for the renewal of spirit that comes from a stay at the beach. If there is ever anything you need that you don't see at the home and we will try our best to accommodate you. There are lifeguard stations nearby and the Kure Beach pier is only a few blocks away. High-rises are not allowed in Kure Beach. It retains much of its small coastal town charm while providing many opportunities and activities just moments from your door. Kure Beach has several good restaurants and convenience stores. Grocery stores and pharmacies are only a few minutes away and Carolina Beach.brbrThere is no public transportation on the island, but taxi cabs are available and Uber and Lyft is typically available with pretty quick responses. Sun Fun Rentals also offers a fun golf cart taxi service to take you anywhere you want on the island for $5/per person.brbrOn the first floor, you will find a bedroom and bath, and an open kitchen/living area with a TV, a bar that seats four, a coffee table with four seats that doubles as a game table or additional dining space for children, and other comfortable seating. Four TV's with Roku or FireStick Streaming Sticks are in the condo - one in each bedroom and one in the living room. Roku sticks support the Spectrum app providing access to basic cable channels. Both types of sticks have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. The kitchen is fully equipped, to include all major and minor appliances, with a smooth top cooking surface, microwave, and regular oven, disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, standard coffee pot, toaster, and blender. There is also an ocean side covered porch with a table for six to provide additional dining space. The porch has built-in benches and chairs for your comfort. There is an outdoor shower and a water faucet attached to the porch.brbrbrOn the second floor, you will find two bedrooms, a bath and French doors that lead to an ocean side balcony. Oceanside balcony has high chairs to provide amazing views of the beach and area around.brbrWhether you choose the porch or the balcony, both have wonderful views of the ocean and are ideal for watching the waves roll in. You can enjoy the magnificent sunrises or watch the moon and stars without the glare of city lights.brbrYou will find a washer, dryer and a vacuum cleaner on the first floor. The living area in each bedroom has an overhead fan as well as lamps for a more cozy atmosphere.brNO SMOKING inside the rental, on the ocean-side decks, or the sandy area by the back decks.brbrWe do not have a crib or pack and play for infants. brbrCity noise ordinance is 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.brbrDogs must be crated when you're not there. Large dogs over 65 lbs. or other animals are not allowed. brbrDogs are allowed on the beach from October 1st to March 31st at any time but must be leashed. From April 1st to September 30th, leashed dogs are allowed between 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM, but are not allowed on the beach from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the peak season. At all times, you must have on your person a plastic or paper container capable of being used to clean up and contain dog waste until it can be properly disposed of in the trash. This large beautiful oceanfront home (over 5300 sq ft) sleeps 20 with pool and heated spa has everything you need and is mid-way between the Kure Beach pier and Carolina Beach's famous boardwalk. There are two separate gathering areas to accommodate large groups. The main living area has large sweeping views of the pool and ocean and seats 13 people easily. It also includes a round table seating 6 for playing games, working on puzzles or as a second dining table. The ground floor has a large recreation room with seating for 6 around the TV. brEnjoy the beautiful east coast sunrises while drinking coffee from one of the oceanfront decks while listening to the calming sound of waves crashing. Or go for a walk along the beach looking for seashells. Relax on the beach and ride the waves or tan on our spacious decks and dip in the 15x34 foot saltwater pool. You have your own private walkway to the beach. You won’t find crowds here. The nearest public access is 10 houses down and a private development access is 4 houses away. You can live like a local by taking advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and grill or enjoy one of Pleasure Island's many restaurants. Pleasure Island (Includes Carolina Beach and Kure Beach) has many wonderful attractions to appeal to everyone to include historic Fort Fisher, the NC Aquarium, the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, sailing/boating, fishing and shopping. Each night offers a different adventure from Sunday night open air movies at the lake to Thursday night live music at the boardwalk and fireworks (one of the best displays around and visible from our beach walkway).
