Stayed Aug 16, 2025This is our second stay at McGee by the Sea and we like the location, the house and the easy communication with the owner. We also enjoyed surprisingly nice weather in Kure Beach even with Hurricane Erin offshore.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Nice place to stay, stayed here in 2021 also. Short walk to beach, usually not too crowded. No big hotels too close. Enjoyed cornhole already there under house.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024Our family loved this house.....it's well maintained, comfortable all around with room for close famiy time or quiet personal time. The kids enjoyed the beach and playing under the house. We walked to Kure Beach Pier, the Tiki Bar and to the Boardwalk each day...even in the rain. Looked for Venus flytraps at Carolina Beach State Park, went to Hang Ten, the Veggie Wagon, the Seawitch and Uncle Vinnies...had Seafood Boil from CFSB....We love this area so much.
