A fully stocked kitchen includes new appliances with a gas stove, dishwasher and a large dining table. Bed linens, towels & toiletries are provided, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, 3 Smart TVs, Washer/Dryer, gas fireplace, and parking for 4 vehicles.brbrThe large family room includes a DVD player and gaming table with a variety of games and puzzles available, so send the kids downstairs while the adults relax on the main floor. Enjoy the covered porch or have dinner on the deck while listening to the tranquil stream. There is also a sleeper sofa in the lower level.brbrAlthough the house is in an open wooded area, much of the property surrounding the cabin is private property. We ask that you take a moment to look at the property map in the guest book, and respect the property of the neighbors.brbrPLEASE NOTE: The drive to our cabin takes you across unpaved (gravel) roads which are well maintained. 2-wheel drive vehicles must use the driveway on the left at the bottom of the hill. Only 4-wheel drive or all-wheel vehicles can make it up the drive on the right side in order to park at the top of the hill. There are 2 parking spots to the left of the house for 2-wheel drive vehicles and 2 parking spots to the right of the house for 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles. Some people have found the parking at the top of the driveway a bit challenging as you may have to do a 3, 4, or 5 point turn to get into them depending on the size of your vehicle.brbrGuests will receive a Welcome Packet from the owners prior to arrival that will include everything else you'll need to know before you arrive at our cabin!brbrWe allow up to 2 dogs for a $75 fee. The neighborhood: Fleetwood trail, lake/river fishing, hiking, short ride to wineries, golf course, boutiques & resorts.brbrFleetwood Falls is on the edge of the New River. During summer months, we drop our floats in at the bridge and float down the river to the foot of the community, approximately 1 - 2 hours depending on how fast the water is moving and distance travelled.brbrIn Fall, we have a beautiful view of the mountains and enjoy watching all the color that surrounds. Fleetwood Falls offers a neighborhood trail and close proximity to a variety of hiking options.brbrWe are 15 minutes to West Jefferson, a vibe (!), brewery-filled, boutique-lined downtown which has become my ultimate favorite. We are 15 minutes to Old Barn Winery which is A-MAZ-ING. We are 20 minutes to downtown Boone and App State, stay with us for sporting events or visits with your college-kids. We are 40 minutes to Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Mountain for a full day ski slopes, tubing, and ice skating. AND, Sugar Mountain, our fav resort, is about 50 minutes.brbrThe SpacebrbrThis is a three bedroom, two bath cabin on the side of Fleetwood Mountain in the Fleetwood Falls Community. The main floor is an open living space for entertaining around the natural fireplace. The large TV provides access to all your favorite smart-apps.
