The cabin was precisely as advertised—the kitchen was well supplied with essentials and we cooked two fabulous meals while we were there. The fire pit outside was lovely and had a great supply of logs available. The hot tub was amazing and we soaked and looked at the stars one of our nights. Wi-fi worked well and the TV had plenty of options to stream our subscriptions. The beds were comfortable and clean. We had a fantastic time and would happily return in the future.

We loved this cabin and property! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It is beautifully decorated! The mountain view from the back deck (and hot tub) is beautiful - sunrise and moonrise! You can see the sunset a bit through the trees in the front as well. We loved the front and side doors with sliding screens - great for a cool, sunny spring day with the mountain breeze! The fireplace is lovely and so easy to use. We would have used the firepit outside but there was a burn ban in place. I'd add blinds to the east-facing bedroom windows (like the one upstairs) and a few Pyrex containers with lids for leftovers (we like to bring food and cook during cabin stays). We'd love to stay again!

Everything was excellent! The property and views were beautiful. The decor in the hoise was amazing! We had a great time hanging by the fire pit and in the hot tub. Highly recommend.

Host was awesome and super pleasant to work with. Home was beautiful and very cozy and welcoming. My only critique was the shower was dirty (hair, dirt around the top-nothing major), but I cleaned it no problem. Would love to stay again!

Cozy, very clean house/cabin in quiet location with lovely views and nice amenities. Pics are accurate and up to date. Other houses are within view, but lot is wooded and fairly secluded. Close to West Jefferson, Boone, and Blue Ridge Parkway. Could have used a few more starter items (i.e., roll of paper towel) and things for our longer stay (larger fry pan, food storage containers, vacuum, dish/cleaning rags, and broom or blower for deck). Outdoor dining table and chairs are nice, cut could definitely upgrade other outdoor furniture (most of the plastic chairs are dirty and cracked). Overall, great place and would recommend!

Anniversary weekend ..nice secluded wooded property with mountain views. Well supplied modern kitchen. Comfy living room with gas fireplace. Super comfy matresses and pillows. Used the hot tub which was relaxing. Fire pit and grill there but did not use. Great communication with host. Roads to house are gravel / dirt , but easy to navigate in fall. Town of West Jefferson close by and has fabulous restaurants and shops. Try cafe bistro, good food . Did some hikes...lots to do within an hour of home. Thx!

Very nice cabin. Neat, good amenities; not used to not having an upstairs bathroom/toilet but we managed:). A grab bar in the shower would be useful…otherwise, great stay. Thank you.

Had an amazing time at the property, my fiancée and I got engaged as I proposed looking out into the mountains from the swing!

The view, the house, the location were all spot on!!!! The house wasn't super hard to find (after we followed their directions & not gps). It had everything we needed for a quiet/peaceful quick little getaway. The beds were comfy enough for us. It was super clean too (except for the missed coffee makers, but they were easy to clean ourselves).The only tiny very minor inconveniences were the propane tank was empty (no biggie bc by the time we were cooking, it was raining anyway), the lighters were out of fluid (but we had brought matches) & the smoke alarms were going off when we pulled up. After 5-10min & a call to the PM, we got them taken care of ... loud, but an easy fix.

Perfect, quiet place to unwind and relax. Home and hot tub were very clean. Tasteful decorations throughout and kitchen very well stocked. We appreciated the number of towels provided. Propane grill is in great condition. Lovely views from porch.

We had a very nice stay, host gave great instructions on getting into property. Cabin was very clean, had great amenities and amazing views. Outdoor fire pit and hot tub on deck were perfect. The beds/ bedding!- Sooo comfortable!!!!. Would definitely stay here again!

This home was just as it looks in the pictures. The 2 rooms downstairs with king beds were lovely. We enjoyed the setting and the backyard view was stunning. It was a wonderful experience with the communication of the host. I would highly recommend it!

Vista Bella has great sunrise views and is well situated between WJ West Jefferson, Boone, and Blowing Rock. We climbed Mount Jefferson, visited Ashe County Cheese factory store, Ashe Co. Museum, shopped and dined in West Jefferson, Boone and Blowing Rock. Highly recommend this home for your adventure!

Property is well appointed and while the space is small, it is utilized in a thoughtful and functional way.

This was such a cute place. We loved the quiet location and being in between West Jefferson and Boone. The house was perfect. The host was easy to reach for questions and gave us great local recommendations. We visited Third Day market, Ashe County Cheese and Frosty’s tree farm! We saw deer every day. We will definitely be back. Small recommendation…I forgot coffee filters…sigh. So maybe have a small selection of coffee items (filters, creamer, sugar/splenda).

Beautiful Sunrise

Very nice little home, easy access, road to a little bumpy but doable. The fenced in front porch was a blessing for a busy little one. The view from back deck and swing is divine and special. Highly recommend

We where scheduled to come not long after the storm hit the mountains and were not sure our trip would happen but the owners where amazing and went above and beyond to make it happen for us. When we arrived the property managers where there making sure everything was in order and where great to work with. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. It was also one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed at. A very easy drive into West Jefferson or Boone for shopping and eating. I would definitely stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay, everything was terrific.

We enjoyed our time at this home. One little hiccup with lawn care coming at 8am. I was assured this would not happen to guests is the future. View was spectacular, hot tub was wonderful, and the house was very clean. Cooking pans could be better bc no matter what I did everything I cooked was sticking. Also be prepared to drive through some back dirt roads to get to property. This was no problem for us, but I feel like it’s worth mentioning. Another thing is that there isn’t a table on the main floor to sit and eat. You have to go up to the loft area or outside. Otherwise we had a great stay.

The property was beautiful and the morning sunrise over the mountains behind the cabin was stunning! The cabin was just as described, comfortable bed, abundantly stocked! Great get away and a short drive from downtown West Jefferson shops and restaurants!

The cabin is a cozy little dream. Your first impression will NOT disappoint. The view was incredible, the hot tub enjoyable, and the house was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the nice mattresses. It's small, but still has two separate bathrooms, which is nice for a small cabin. We came for a mom and dad getaway, but thought about how much our three kids would have enjoyed the loft area and wraparound deck. I think they'd particularly enjoy the large wooded areas on both sides of the cabin though. It was a quiet street and easy to find. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook and it had three coffee options: keurig, espresso, and regular coffee machine. They had excellent internet and streaming services. There isn't really a place to eat inside at a table, but they have a large table on the deck that works for that perfectly. The fire pit is beautiful and they provide wood! There was a bit of misunderstanding with the property's cleaning schedule on the day we arrived. The property manager and owner of the home worked it out quickly and efficiently. They took care of us and what could have been a sticky situation turned out to be a lovely date night for me and my husband, recently returned from his seven month deployment. We want to bring our kids back next time!
