This is a quiet Chapel Hill Residential neighborhood with well-established properties and homes. A city walking trail just up the street creates a scenic 10-minute walk to Eastgate and Plaza Shopping Centers, with Starbucks, Brueggers Bagels, Whole Foods, Rite Aide, and numerous other shops and restaurants. It is 2 minutes by car from East Franklin Street (where it becomes the Durham/Chapel Hill Boulevard) which puts it within 5 minutes drive of UNC, and a 15 minute drive from Downtown Durham and Duke University. It is likewise a 5-minute drive to I-40 and therefore a 20 minute drive to RDU Airport. Two different bus lines pass within a block of our address, but buses do not pass directly by.brbrTwo miles from UNC, 5 miles from Duke, easy access to Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, and I-40. 15 miles from RDU International Airport. This 2nd rental was built specifically for use as a short-term rental. It has no line-of-sight view from the main house, and has a private entrance. Our intent was to create a luxury space to rent for guests with appreciation for such. The result is a living space so beautiful that we hate to not use it for ourselves! Space is ideal for 1 couple (2 people) in the king-sized bed. The sofa in the TV viewing room is a futon-bed that folds out and is technically a full sized mattress (smaller than a queen) which might accommodate one adult, one adult couple, or up to two kids who can share a bed.brbrGuests are limited to one parking pace in our driveway and must park at the left side of the driveway near start of private walk to the BnB's private entrance. Kitchenette has under-counter fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink and Keurig coffee maker (no oven or stove-top). brbr-This is a no-smoking property; not just a no-smoking apartment. If you are a smoker, and think you can just go outside to smoke, please consider some other property. This one is not the best fit for you.br-Please note there are additional, minimal fees per-guest above a base number. Please be sure you enter the correct number of guests in the reservation. This spacious, 3-level home is located in a walkable neighborhood with access to the Booker Creek Trail and Cedar Falls park/playground nearby. There are 4 bedrooms (2 Queen and 2 Full beds), all with premium hybrid mattresses. An additional full size mattress made of 6” memory foam is also available for a 9th guest if needed. Three full bathrooms make mornings easy, and the kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, and everything you need to cook or bake. The front living room offers peace and quiet, and 2 additional, large family rooms with wall-mounted screens enable you to stream movies, sports games, etc. The WiFi is Google fiber. There are also plenty of interactive activities in-house, including a ping pong table, Xbox One, board games, card decks and poker chips. The backyard is fenced with a deck, lots of overhead trees for shade, and a fire pit for relaxing and s’mores. Eastgate, Ram’s Plaza and Timberlyne Shopping Centers are 5 minutes away for groceries and restaurants. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or gathering for a meal, this relaxing home offers a welcoming atmosphere. I’m happy to assist with any questions and look forward to your visit! Owner lives next door and ready to help if there is an issue but you will feel secluded in this lovingly appointed house in the woods. This is a great place to relax with family for a few days or to just stay in a truly peaceful space while you decompress with friends. Nice fenced in back yard with deck and grill will help you enjoy the outdoors with a wooded view. Front porch looks out onto the country drive and more trees. Woods right next to the house can be explored too. The house is 10 minutes to Carrboro downtown with shopping and restaurants. There is a Food Lion and a Chinese restaurant about 8 minutes away . We are close to Chapel Hill and not far from Durham, both offering more options. If you plan to stay for more than a month please contact me for special rates . Please , no loud parties, and gatherings should be limited to 10 people. You may hear professional musicians practicing down the street sometimes if you are outside but it is never loud. If you want to check in early or check out late please just book the extra date.
