The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island. The building itself is one row away from the ocean, and one row from Carolina Beach Lake. The property is set under a block from downtown Carolina Beach with its shops, activities, and dining. brbrThe home is in the heart of Carolina Beach and moderate walking distance to downtown and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. brbrYou can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The kitchen is stocked will all the basic cooking and dining utensils one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). brbrIn addition, there is a microwave, toaster, coffer maker and blender ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!). 1 courtesy soap, shampoo and conditioner are left in the bathroom of each home as well as 2 rolls of TP per bath, 1 makeup wipe and one backup toothbrush. 1 roll of paper towel, a sponge, dish soap, 2 trash bags per receptacle and (*as applicable) 3 dishwasher and laundry pods will be available to use if needed!brbrThe unit's ONE (1) QUEEN bed and TWO (2) TWIN beds consists of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased 8” memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge. 1 set of the following will be made on a per bed/per person basis to help you be comfortable on your adventure! Bed sheets (fitted/flat set), bath towels, wash cloths, cleaning rags, pillowcases, bathmats and kitchen towels. Laundering or extra sets are not an available service regrettably. If you don’t spend all your time on the beach, the rest of the time will be spent on the huge deck with plenty of seating. Enjoy meals at the dining table on the deck, or hang out, read a book, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the waves from two pairs of comfy chairs. brbrThe gathering room features two sofas and a chair that are perfect for relaxing and socializing. We have a selection of books, games, and DVDs/Blu-rays for all ages. The wall-mounted TV tilts and turns for better viewing for everyone. brbrWe installed a water softener system to make for much more enjoyable showers. The kitchen has a separate faucet set up with a reverse osmosis water dispenser giving you delicious water to drink and use in your cooking. The fridge is also connected to this system. No need to bring cases or gallons of water. brbrThe kitchen is very well equipped. There are dishes, flatware, cookware, knife set and the all-important wine glasses. There is a multi-cup Keurig (bring your k-cups), regular coffee pot (we supply filters), electric tea kettle and toaster. There is also a blender to make your frozen margaritas and a hand mixer if you need one. We provide some cooking essentials, so you don’t have to bring your whole kitchen with you.
