This is one side of a three-story duplex located on the North end of Carolina Beach. The house is located across the street from the ocean, with the front door only a few steps from the public beach access. There is 2700 square feet of living area. A public walkway to the beach is almost directly across the street from the house, and this is not a busy street as this end of the island is all residential. The views of the beach and the canal are so beautiful and relaxing. It is a rare treat to have both in one property. brbrWatch the sun rise and set from any room in the house. When looking at the photo of the house, the left side is Unit #1. brbrThere are six covered porches with access from every floor to both the ocean view and the canal view! The elevator services all 4 floors, from the carport to the top floor. This elevator is provided as a convenience. Full size wheel chairs do not fit easily, and not recommended. There is a security camera in the elevator interior cab.brbrBed linens and bath towels are included with the rental. There are 8 bath setups, each setup is 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth. The beds will have fresh linens installed (1 king, 4 queen, 1 twin).brbrThe first floor has a recreation room with a poker table, combination air hockey & Pool table, 46' HD TV and a sleeper sofa. There is also a private bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed, and a private deck overlooking the sound There is a common bath between the recreation room and the bedroom. The washer and dryer are located in the hallway.brbrThe middle floor has a family room with a gas fireplace, and home theater setup, consisting of 46' LED television with a bluray player, digital cable service. and iPhone/android ready receiver with dolby 5-channel home theater system. Adjacent in the open floor plan is the kitchen, dining room and breakfast bar, pantry and private deck overlooking the ocean. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed, bath, and private deck overlooking the sound. brbrThe third floor has 2 master suites. The first has a king bed, over size 'chair and half' which also pulls out to a twin sleeper, 42' television with digital cable, huge Jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall. The best feature is the large deck overlooking the ocean. The ocean views are really nice from this room and sunrises are just amazing. There is a double futon in the hallway sitting area and elevator access. The second master bedroom has two queen beds and a private bath, This bedroom also has a deck overlooking the sound with impressive views of canal sunsets. brbrAll bedrooms have flat screen televisions with cable service, and variable speed ceiling fans.brbrThere is a private heated pool (shared only with the adjacent sister unit). The pool is open mid-march through October. Pool heat is available in the shoulder seasons as an option. There is a large deck area and plenty of patio furniture. Adjacent there are 2 shower stalls and a 1/2 bath. An outdoor stereo allows tuning the local FM stations, or streaming music from your personal device. The storage area in the carport we try to keep plenty of beach & water toys for the kids. The pool area also has a built-in charcoal grill with 2 separate cooking surfaces (one smaller, one very large).brbrWorth mentioning is the water system upgrades to this house. The kitchen has a high end reverse osmosis water filtration system to supply cooking and drinking water. (No need to purchase distilled water.) There is also whole house water softener system to provide high quality water for all guests. Another issue with beach water is low water pressure. It is a short 2.5 blocks from the boardwalk where the carnival (carnival runs during high season), beach shops and restaurants reside. The CODtage is 60 steps from the beach, free wifi access and has a ‘peek’ view of the ocean from the front deck. This beauty was recently constructed and has everything one would need for your vacation stay! It is a 2 bedroom, 1 full bath home that has a primary bedroom with a comfortable king bed and the second bedroom has a bunkbed with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin XL on the top. It also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. brbrFor your stay, the owners provide you with beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach blanket (all provided in the locked storage cabinet in the parking area) and an outdoor shower (with hot/cold water) to wash off the sand from a fun day on the beach. There is also a built-in picnic table protected/shaded under the CODtage for dining outside or just a place to drop your beach gear. Our cute one bedroom, one bath condo is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or a small family looking for fun on the beach. Our two patios, one on each end of the condo, give you an awesome view of the sunrises and sunsets over the beach and lake respectively. Just in case the weathers not cooperating, we have a retro arcade with all your favorite old games and there's no quarters needed! brbrWe are located in the heart of Carolina Beach, in the second row of homes. We are a mere 100 steps from the ocean access. The Carolina Beach Lake and Brandy Myers Playground is across the street and the Carolina Beach Boardwalk is roughly a 6-minute walk. Every Thursday night during the summer there is a fireworks display on the boardwalk, the best part about this is there is no fighting of the crowds for you, you can just pull up a chair on our ocean side patio and watch in comfort. The amusement park portion of the boardwalk is open Memorial Day through Labor Day every year. At the lake, there is a Farmer's Market every Saturday morning and on Sunday evening's they do free family movies. The Kure Beach pier, the Ft. Fisher Aquarium, and the ferry to Southport are just a 10–12-minute drive.brbrIf you love food like we do there are loads of great places to eat and drink! Definitely check out Hang Ten restaurant for a great burger, they're so close you can see them from the back patio. The Veggie Wagon is a 3-minute walk, where you can grab all kinds of local fare, like take and bake meals, hard ciders/beers/wine, baked goods. The blood orange cider is my personal favorite. Coffee lovers don't fear for Majik Beans is just a short walk past the Hang Ten restaurant, on the walk you'll also pass Kate's Pancake house, where you should definitely try the Banana Nut French toast. For burritos as big as your head, lol, check out Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn, delicious! Last but not least on our favorite's list is Britt's Donuts, which is open seasonally on the Boardwalk. They're so good that they announce their re-opening every year on the local news!brbrWe have an onsite designated parking spot for our unit, so you don't have to concern yourself with parking access or fees. Our home is fully furnished but we do not supply linens. If you don't wish to travel with linens, you can rent them on the island at such places as Maids 2 Clean NC.
