For those wanting to sit back and relax, the living room contains a sectional sofa and a pull-out queen sleeper sofa. Moving back to the sun room, there is another pull-out queen sleeper sofa, TV, and convertible gaming table that has foosball, minipool, and table hockey. The sun room is also the main entry point for the home. brbrWith three of the five bedrooms having lake views, everyone will feel “at the lake”. The other two rooms have their bonuses as well. The second upstairs room, being the “kids” room, has a low loft twin bed with a rolling trundle twin bed and TV; the kids will have a space of their own. The main floor bedroom is the other room without a direct lake view. However, it is also one of the largest, again with its own TV, and most accessible as it is on the main floor with the main floor full bath and walk-in shower just across the hall. A perfect room for those that have difficulty navigating lots of stairs. brbrGoing down one more flight of stairs, you enter the walk-out basement level. This area contains two large bedrooms, each with views of the lake. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, large closets, and a TV in each room. There is also a full bathroom on this floor with a walk-in shower. This level is where you will find the full sized washer and dryer as well.brbrWalk down the driveway and cross the road to your own lake access and private dock (Open Memorial Day-Labor Day). Sixteen steps down to the lake and you are ready to jump in your kayak to explore. The north part of Cayuga is shallow and does freeze in the winter. Thus, during these months, the dock is pulled out of the water. Also something to keep in mind if you plan to bring your boat is your boat’s draft. Make sure to check the depth chart! Welcome to the Chapland House! A great place to getaway to the Finger Lakes Region! The Chapland House is a 4 bedroom 2 full bath house that is your home away from home. We are located right on the Cayuga Lake wine trail!brbrThe Chapland House will sleep 9 in the beds and there is extra sleeping room up to 12 with the futons!brbr**Depending on time of year price is negotiable, feel free to message me!**brbrLocated in the heart of the Finger Lakes, the Chapland House is located at the Northern end of Cayuga Lake (not lake front). brbrThe Space-brAccess to the house via a nice screened in front porch with a couple seats to enjoy coffee in the morning! Enter the house into the front dining room, off the dining room you will find the living room, down stairs master queen bedroom and kitchen. The living room has 3 futons which allow for additional sleeping areas! We do have full size washer/dryer that guests are able to use located in the downstairs bedroom closet. brbrUpstairs you will find a shared bathroom with stand up shower and 3 bedrooms. Upstairs bedrooms consist of a queen bedroom, king bedroom, and what refer to as the kids room with 1 twin bed and a twin bunk bed. Each bedroom and the living room are equipped with Smart TV's, if you sign in to any streaming accounts please be sure to sign out. Each TV has its own remote as well. brbrAdditionally, off the kitchen there is a back door/back mudroom where you can access the back patio. The back patio area is a great spot to hang out and enjoy the weather, relax under the stars with a bonfire to end the night. The back patio is equipped with a 6 person outdoor table set with umbrella, BBQ grill, fire pit and additional Adirondack chairs.brbrGuest Access- brGuests will have access to the entire property including the back patio and back yard. The back patio does have a retractable fence up to help offer some privacy. It is on a 25 mile an hour road which offers minimal traffic. Great for taking lake side walks/runs/bike rides.brbrThere are 5 stairs to climb in order to access the house. brbr**Landscape/lawn updates to the exterior of the house are occurring this summer. We try to schedule these to occur in between stays however this cannot always be done. If any work is scheduled to be done, it will occur during the timeframe Monday through Friday during business hours. Lawn care maintenance is done weekly during business days/hours.brbrGetting Around- brIt is one mile from the Cayuga Lake State Park where you can enjoy a public boat launch, beach area, playground and pavilion! Looking to do some hiking The Chimney Bluffs is about 40 minutes North or the Taughannock Falls 35 minutes South. Or visit a diamond in the rough, the Great Gully, a short 22 minute drive away. Go on a scenic drive full of nature through the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge 5 minutes down the road, and don't forget to bring your camera! We are only a 10 minute drive to the Del Lago Casino where you can go to enjoy fine dining, gambling, some sports betting at TwinSpires SportsBook, or visit the concert venue for some live entertainment! A 15 minute drive will get you to the Waterloo Premium Outlets where you can shop until you drop!
