Private lot with private dock and private swimming and grass area down by the lake. We have two kayaks, a canoe and a fire pit on the property. We keep the house clean and update and renovate the house regularly. Our house electricity is solar, powered by Solar Farms, New York.brbrWe now have a master bathroom and two full bathrooms!!brbrA great location to visit Cornell University, Ithaca College, The Ithaca Farmer's Market, The Ithaca Commons and the Finger Lakes Wineries. Taughannock Falls, Buttermilk Falls and Treman State Park are all nearby. Easy boat entry at Treman Marina, one mile down the road.brbrThis is fun kitchen to cook in since you are lakeside. Kitchen has sliding glass doors to large lakeside deck. Cherry floors, granite countertops, pendant lights, dishwasher, garbage disposal, oversized fridge, eat-in table with seating for seven. Gorgeous views from almost every room, including 8 windows in the living room, 3 in the master bedroom, 3 windows and a three paneled sliding glass door in the kitchen and a 6 bay window and large picture windows in the downstairs bedroom. The house is renovated and modern. Hardwood floors and beautiful finishing touches everywhere. All kitchen items (pots, pans, plates), sheets, blankets and towels are provided.brbrBedrooms: Master w/ fantastic views of Cornell and King Bed. This room has an attached master bathroom with a shower. The downstairs bedroom is the Bay Window Room. This room has fantastic views of the lake, a queen bed, and is near the downstairs bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom has a skylight and two twin beds.brbrPet Policy: We allow pets because we love our dogs and they love to travel with us. This is a great place for dogs, not only because they can go swimming, but because the deck and grass are all fenced in. You can let the dog out from the kitchen without even leaving the house. You must clean up after your pet, of course. We charge only a $40 fee for dogs that we spend on end of the year professional carpet cleaners. Note: If your dog is elderly then this might not be a great house with all the steps.brbrCleaning:brHouse is professionally cleaned between tenants. Cleaners provide the beds made with clean sheets. brbrWho Can Rent:br It is a quiet area and is not appropriate for loud/late-night parties. We do not allow additional guests.brbrOur property is steep. There is a long stair case to the house from the driveway. All tenants and guests must be able to navigate stair with ease. Unfortunately it is not handicapped accessible. brbrWinter: Our house is a real year-round house and you can set the thermostat to whatever is comfortable. We usually do not plow or shovel the lower driver in winter since it is pretty steep. However, you must be able-bodied and sure-footed. There is a path with a series of concrete steps (a total of 21). In winter, we have a new staircase from the road with 52 steps. Three of the bedrooms have one Queen bed, another has a combination of King and bunked twins so younger ones can sleep near parents or cousins can have a continuous slumber party. Attached to the main house, the Bunkhouse wing has the 5th and 6th bedrooms - 1 with King Bed, other with 2 twins and a lofted full size bed. The Bunkhouse includes 1 Full Bath and a first floor family room/den equipped with a Queen futon a desk and a table for puzzles, crafts, etc.brbrOur Vacation Rental is great for family gatherings and reunions, retreats, families in town attending weddings, and college commencements and reunions, we've had all of them! The stone stack fencing, rolling hills, and endless gardens make you feel like you've suddenly stepped into a quaint Irish village. brbrThe Balloon Room is a colorful and unique suite on the property of New Park Event Venue & Suites. The Balloon Room has two queen beds, a sitting area, and a breakfast bar. It has two outside spaces - a sun deck and a covered patio. Balloon Room sleeps 4 people in beds, and then either one adult or two kids on the fold down couch. brbrThe room includes a smart TV Netflix and Disney Plus. The luxury bathroom features a beautiful walk-in shower with see-through glass doors, a cobblestone wall with tile designs, uniquely styled tile floors, and a teak chair. The bathroom area has a remarkable mosaic window and dual glass vessel sinks, and a Toto Washlet Japanese bidet toilet. brbrIn addition to your room space, you'll have access to the courtyard and Wish Room common space. The Wish Room has a fireplace in the middle of the room and there are two campfire spaces on the property. Stained glass, handcrafted stonework, and incredible woodwork laces every single room. brbrFeatures of New Park: brbr-There is one room called the Wish Room which has a wood burning fireplace in the middle of the room, as well as a piano, guitars, record player, gas grill, cable TV and wifi. brbr-Romantic gardens, rolling lawns, and a forest for hiking (as long as it isn't hunting season). brbr-There are two communal fire pits - one in the center of the property and another off to the side. The entire property is surrounded by a very tall privacy fence that once protected the privacy of a celebrity (ask the staff or the locals and they'll tell you more!). New Park also has an event space and a picnic area by a creek that is so beautiful that people get married there almost every weekend of summer. brbrNew Park also has a total of 7 suites and can sleep up to 22 people across them, so bring some family and friends with you!
