We very much enjoyed our staff. The house was very clean and one of the most well stocked kitchens I have seen. The location was perfect for exploring the region! We would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the lake activities.
We enjoyed the wineries nearby and the beautiful lakeview property. They kayaks were fun and when it rained there was plenty of games and stuff to do indoors.
My wife and I had a great stay here while visiting Seneca falls and the local winery/breweries. Amazing views of the lake and a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to really unwind in the evening. We look forward to staying here again when we visit the area in the future.
Water right off the porch and everything we could have wanted in a house an more. Other reviews described it in great detail and correct. I liked the swimming and firepit. My wife liked the decorations.
We chose this cozy home for its view and it didn’t disappoint! You felt like you were sitting right on the lake from the living room! The house was very comfy and everything you would need was provided. From extra pillows and blankets, to throws to cuddle under on the sofas, it was easy to relax after spending the day traveling around the Lakes. The kitchen was well equipped and with 3 tvs and games available there was plenty to entertain you. We had one question which the host answered almost instantly. The steps down to the house looked intimidating, but actually weren’t hard to navigate. Well worth the trip down to the fabulous location on the lake! The location made it easy to explore both Cayuga and Seneca and we also ventured over to Skaneateles which was only 30 minutes away. We definitely want to make a return visit to this comfy, cozy home!!
This is a great property that is literally steps away from the lake. The back porch, firepit, dock, kayaks, paddle boards, etc... allowed us to fully take advantage of the location. The downstairs common area was comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 2 children under 10 to spend time in together without feeling cramped. There is a similar sized common area upstairs that we didn't even use. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils and spices. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and personal care items. During our visit the neighborhood was very calm and peaceful. It was a short (probably 10-15 minute) drive into Seneca Falls and at least two grocery stores (that we know of). The person managing the property was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Some things to note are that there are some fairly steep stairs leading from the parking area to the house. They were never an issue for us, but may be if someone is less mobile. The main bedroom is very spacious and large enough to comfortably spend time in. The two other bedrooms are too small to sit anywhere other than on the bed. This shouldn't be an issue if you plan on spending most of your time in the common areas or outside anyway. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property!
My husband and our 4 adult children spent a lovely few days at this home. It was comfortable and cozy and right on the water. Kelly/ Claudia handled all the details seamlessly and made this vacation so easy. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was set up with plenty of things to do. I loved sitting on the porch listening to the water. I would definitely return.
I booked this house for my family of five, my kids are older, young adults and we were thrilled with the accommodations. There was plenty of room and most bedrooms are generous. The house is well stocked and I found that I overpacked. I didn’t need to bring all the towels, bedding and kitchen supplies that I thought we would need! There was also plenty of floats and lake toys to play with, my kids had a ball. It is also close to town with restaurants, wineries and shopping nearby. The lake is literally steps from the back door, we spent so much time just enjoying the views from the porch. Be aware of the bugs, but they come with any summer time lake property and the bonfire at night kept them away. I also appreciated the available wood pile for the fire. Thanks for a great week!!
Enjoyed fishing, wineries, kayaking, paddle boarding, and just chilling at the lake!
Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at Cayuga Lake. The house had everything we needed and the kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks. The fishing was great. The water off the dock was pretty murky for swimming but we found a great spot at Seneca State Park.
I can not say enough good things about this cute little house! It was very clean and well organized! Everything you could need was available and they thought of so many small details that made are stay so enjoyable! We had a fantastic time! Thank you Claudia and Kelly!
We loved our stay at Claudia's lakehouse this weekend! It was the perfect vacation spot for our family (my 2 older parents, and then my siblings and boyfriend and I). The house was beautiful and cozy, and the location is stunning with views of the gorgeous lake from every window! We thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, relaxing on the porch, playing board games together, taking out the kayaks, and making s'mores at the firepit. We also got to explore the nearby towns of Seneca Falls and Skaneateles, which was a lot of fun. The communication from Claudia and Kelly was perfect. Highly recommended c:
We stayed in this lovely home with our two teenage boys and my mother for Memorial Day weekend. The house is in a fantastic location on the water and we really appreciated all the amenities such as the grill, fire pit, dock, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The kitchen was very well stocked. The property manager was very responsive to any questions and made checking in and out easy. The only area that we gave less than 5 starts was cleanliness as the house was a bit musty and we found cobwebs. We suspect we might have been the first guests of the season. Overall however a great house for a weekend away!
