Welcome to Chirping Pines, a cozy three-bedroom retreat nestled along the northwestern shore of Cayuga Lake in Seneca Falls. This inviting home offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience—just minutes from local wineries, restaurants, and attractions like the Women's Rights Museum, Del Lago Resort, and the charming streets of downtown Seneca Falls. Whether you're visiting for a family getaway, a Cornell graduation, or a Finger Lakes wine tour, Chirping Pines is your home away from home.

Inside, the open floor plan and warm neutral décor create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The galley-style kitchen features plenty of counter space and is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. A wooden dining table connects the kitchen and living area, offering space for shared meals, games, or quiet mornings with coffee and lake views.

The living room is bright and comfortable, with soft furnishings and double French doors that open onto the balcony deck. From sunrise to sunset, this peaceful space invites you to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Cayuga Lake. Early mornings are especially magical—the air filled with birdsong that gives this home its name.

The main level includes two bedrooms, each featuring a king-size bed and simple, soothing décor. A full bathroom with a tub and shower combination serves this floor. Downstairs, you'll find the third bedroom with a queen bed and private half bath, plus a laundry area for added convenience. From this level, you can easily walk out to the lakefront without going back upstairs.

Step outside to enjoy the best of lakeside living. The home's private waterfront, located across quiet Lower Lake Road, features a natural shoreline perfect for swimming and kayaking. A dock extends over the clear water, providing the ideal spot for fishing, sunbathing, or simply relaxing with a glass of local wine.

The backyard offers even more room to spread out and play. With a large grassy lawn, there's plenty of space for lawn games or a picnic under the trees. In the evenings, gather around one of the two custom-built stone firepits—one lakeside and one in the yard—and share stories under the stars.

Chirping Pines is just a short drive from the heart of Seneca Falls, where you can stroll along Fall Street, explore local boutiques, and dine at favorites like Parker's Grille or El Bajio. The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, scenic hiking spots, and nearby waterfalls are all within easy reach, offering endless ways to experience the Finger Lakes.

Whether you're kayaking at sunrise, toasting marshmallows by the fire, or sipping wine on the deck, Chirping Pines offers the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and lakeside charm.

Book your stay today and start your next Finger Lakes adventure at Chirping Pines.

This is a great vacation home. It looks exactly like the photos. Wonderful decor with comfortable beds in a quiet location. Each night we sat in the back at the firepit and in the morning had coffee on the front deck while watching swans, geese and what we think was a muskrat swimming by right in front of the docks across the street. We had a lovely dinner with great service and good wine at Knapp Winery's restaurant Field & Vine just 10 minutes away. Each day we was a new adventure...hiking at Watkins Glenn, Sail boat ride on True Love Schooner, Fabulous wine tasting at Hillick and Hobbs winery and then dinner at Stonecat Cafe. Cheese tasting at Muranda Cheese Barn and checking out Seneca Falls. Also just about an hour away we visited Ithica and the wonderful farm market and the next day was a trip to the Corning Glass museum. We highly recommend this rental. So many things to see and do. Our last night the whole area was without power for a couple of hours and we were grateful for the 2 pop up LED lanterns on the countertop.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chirping Pines. The property was well-appointed and excellent for a group of four! Location couldn’t be better for convenience to supermarket as well as plenty of wineries within 30 minutes on both Cayuga and Seneca! Outdoor space was excellent! We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the area.
