This is one of the finest bay beaches in the North Fork. It's wonderful for small children. At low tide it's very shallow, the water is very warm, and there are no waves to speak of. The swimming area is roped off for safety. If you want to visit Long Island Sound beaches (beautiful sunsets), they are two miles away. Included is lots of beach furniture and towels. Also within walking distance is a nature conservancy pond with an Osprey nest.brbrThere's a par three golf course nearby, and several 18 hole courses within 10 miles. The cycling is great; owner can recommend some quiet routes. If you have a kayak, paddle board or Sunfish, all the better; you can walk them right down to the bay. brbrIf you have a watercraft, it is very close to the Marina, or you can anchor right off the beach.
