We are right between both ski hills (Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail) only about 1/2 hour to either one. There is gas station,, convenient store, casino and pub that are only a 3 minute drive . All the Flathead Valley activities are minutes drive to all. brbrWhether you are looking to just relax in it's peaceful setting our venture out. It is situated right on the lake with our own private dock, It is at the end of the road so there is no traffic. You really can't beat the views. It faces the mountains, lake and the beautiful valley, all in one. brbrOur 2800 square foot cabin has tons of room inside and out. We have a three decks with an outside firepit facing the lake. We visit often and sometimes bring our sweet dog, so you may also see us and Juggs the dog!brbrOur rental is located in an industrial/business district surrounded by humble, historical homes, with easy access to two major highways. We are about a block away from the Rails to Trails bike path as well as the Kalispell Parkline Trail, a five minute drive to Lone Pine State Park, Foys Lake, and Herron Park, and a five minute walk to the mall and downtown, which offers a wide range of choices in dining, shopping, coffee shops, bakeries, and one really tasty ice creamery. Note that there is a tire shop across the street so there is potential for some noise during business hours!brbrThe easiest way to get around Kalispell is to drive, although there are a few good bike trails and a lot of places within walking distance, depending on what `walking distance` is for you. There is free street parking in front of the rental. There are also taxis in the area as well as both Uber and Lyft if you don`t feel like driving or don`t have a car.brSome guests love to take advantage of the Mountain Climber, our local bus service.brbrIf you’re heading to Glacier Park or the forest, taking some bear spray is a really good idea.
