Stayed Sep 14, 2025This was the ideal location for us to explore Whitefish, Flathead, and Glacier. The house is set so you feel completely isolated while you sit on the deck or porch; only Mountain View’s! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. There were plenty of supplies: trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay-absolutely idyllic!

Stayed Aug 9, 2025This home was more than we could have asked for. There were 5 of us and more than enough room for everyone. The house was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Stocked with everything you could want. Coolers…. Cooking utensils…. You name it we found it. The location was perfect. Secluded and views of the mountains. Tia was so helpful whenever we had questions and we also had the joy of meeting her in person. Super friendly and full of ideas about things to do in the area. Her suggestion for Montana boarders was amazing, rented kayaks to use on lake flathead. Will def stay at one of tias homes in the future. Book now you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed Jul 17, 2025The location is perfect for nature/forest feel with access to stores 30 minutes away! We had a great time having ping pong play offs, game night at the table, relaxing sore muscles in the hot tub or sauna and watching the deer munching in the mornings with a cup of coffee from the Keurig! The rooms are spacious and the sitting areas are wonderfully set up! We enjoyed the grill and the garage fridge was great for all the food storage. Item to note…if cooking in the oven, the smoke detectors sense heat as well as smoke. If you are baking over 425 it may set off smoke detectors so make sure to use the microwave vent & ceiling fan in the living room.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025The layout was perfect. Gigi and Pop Pop on the first floor with a king bed (70 year olds didn't have to go down and up stairs). Parents king size bed downstairs with another room for the kids. We were in close proximity to downtown Kalispell, the Kalispell airport and to Glacier National Park. The Gathering Home was spacious, clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The laundry room was huge with a sauna. Host was very responsive and kind. We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025This home is the very best VRBO place we have ever stayed. It felt like we had our very own spa in additional to everything we needed in the house. We loved the sauna, the hot tub, the front porch, the back patio.....we cooked all our meals and loved the big table to eat at!! Designer furnishing, luxury bed linens......the list goes on and on. Communication was easy. We would come back here in a heart beat.

Stayed Apr 12, 2025We stayed for a family vacation- 6 adults and one infant. Overall, this home is a superb location, with easy access to GNP, hiking, biking and other vacation activities. We ended up staying most of our days at the house, watching movies, playing games, cooking and just spending time together, and we all agreed that the house is so well laid out and roomy that none of us felt like we were tripping over each other. The house location is a bit more remote than we thought it would be, and is accessed via gravel roads (dust and a some washboarding on the road). Just be aware. That being said, it's a very quiet location and feels very secluded. Of the household amenities we used, the hot tub was great (but we couldn't find the filter to put in after we used the hot tub- we're probably blind). The sauna didn't work well- our sons tried a couple of times, but it wouldn't get over 119 and wasn't hot enough to do any good. We visited in April, with outdoor temps in the freezing range at night. The basement got pretty cold since the thermostat is upstairs. Space heaters are provided, which help, but you have to be really careful about what is plugged in on different breakers- we had breakers trip on several occasions. We were glad we all took slippers as those basement tiled floors got cold!We use VRBO's a few times every year, and this is one of the best we've visited- it's very well stocked, and other than bringing in our food, it had everything we needed, right down to a dog bed!

Stayed Sep 7, 2022Check-in was easy with the provided key code for the front door. Manager was easy to communicate with and our special request was ready upon arrival, making the whole experience smooth, even though we arrived late at night! The property was immaculate and decorated nicely. Plenty of comfortable sleeping options for the whole family and lots of activities to do outside around the property (and in the game room / garage). With its great location, we were able to experience nature (wild turkey and deer) and privacy, but still be close enough to the amenities of town, not feeling isolated. One minor thing to note is that the hot tub doesn't have any kind of assist for the cover. This didn't affect us, but something to keep in mind if lifting a moderate amount of weight is difficult for you.
