Neighborhood is tight-knit and friendly. There is a children's park walking distance from the house, and the neighborhood is perfect for an evening stroll. The house is well-kept with regular professional lawn maintenance other services. While it is very central to many various attractions nearby, it is not a location whereby you can walk to nearby restaurants or shops. You will find restaurants/bars and shopping a very short drive away (5-10 minutes in either direction).brbrCome and enjoy this beautiful home! The home features paintings and wall art from local artists. The bedrooms feature glazed log beds that were harvested by hand from local forests and hand-peeled using traditional methods. Murals featuring different scenes from Glacier National Park adorn each bedroom. The home has an earthy, rustic yet modern feel throughout. It is a perfect place to unwind after your outdoor adventures.brbrThe living room offers a relaxing place to sit back and enjoy a 65 TV. Prime video and several other streaming services are provided; while others you are welcome to bring your log in information! Cable-TV is not provided. Games are also provided, as are some books and magazines. There is a love seat, a rolled arm leather chair with ottoman, and a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa with new, thick mattress. There is also a fireplace for cozying up in the cooler months.brbrThe kitchen space offers new appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking supplies you may require. If you are looking for something specific, please let us know! There is also a propane gas BBQ grill on the deck. And of course, coffee lovers can enjoy complimentary coffee (traditional brew or French press style) as well as a kettle and tea selection for those who prefer.brThere is a modern dining table to enjoy meals together, or to sit and get some work done if duty calls. There is also a seperate workspace off the main living room if privacy is desired. We have private, quiet lodging on our 34 acre estate away from the main house. Open space all around. No highway noise out here. The vacation rental is a chalet style second story lodging on top of a large garage not used during the rental months and it has your own private entrance, driveway, and a private yard with a picnic table in the trees. brThere is also a covered carport, plenty of parking and a pull through if you have a boat or trailer. There are 2 bedrooms, both with handmade log beds, comfortable bedding, and quilts. The bedroom windows do overlook the owner's property behind the rental.br There is 1 bathroom with a tub shower combination with plenty of large soft towels. There is a washer and dryer for your cleaning needs. There is wood flooring throughout, with throw rugs to give you that feel of rustic lodging in the mountains and granite counter tops in the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen has the utensils you need to enjoy cooking. A breakfast bar or a table that seats six will make anywhere you eat enjoyable. Or if you prefer to eat outdoors, there is a BBQ and a table with seating on the balcony deck in the trees so you can sit, eat, drink, and enjoy your meals viewing the great rocky mountain range. The living room has a new queen sofa sleeper and love seat that is grouped around an entertainment center for relaxing after a day of exploring Glacier Park, Flathead Lake or one of the many other beautiful areas to visit. We have high speed wireless internet and a large flat screen satellite TV. We also have hiking on the estate or nearby. Jewel Basin is only 7 miles to the trail head , Strawberry lake is 4 miles to the trail head, and 5 miles to the Peters Ridge trail head.brIf you feel like a lazy day by Krause Creek , which flows through our meadows below the mountain range, you can have a picnic with your own picnic table with breathtaking views of the Swan range. There is also huckleberry picking in the area and your hosts can give you a few directions so you can have the experience of picking your own berries.
